Have been eating at this restaurant for years. New owners now... Had a very bad experience recently and I will not be going back. Too bad, as it was such a nice family restaurant before new ownership took over. Examples of concern: Was told my kids could have kid menu portions of regular menu meals, then being charged for the full adult menu price. Charged more for a meal than what was listed on menu. Topped up half full wine glasses and then charged for another full glass of wine. Side note, waiter on this occasion was overly handsy with my children, making us all feel very uncomfortable and wanting to leave asap. Can't see this place lasting long with these unprofessional business practices.

Had heard good things about this restaurant. Went for brunch i had the Greek omelet which was good but my toast had mold the owners did comp my meal. Washroom was dirty and tables were sticky. Disappointed

I am devastated to learn this place has been sold. I worked here as a teenager and even had the 'Farmboy' pizza named after me.
Their pizza was the absolute best by far, simply amazing.
This week I travelled from out of province to visit family here and ordered some pizzas to go. They were nothing like it used to be. Toppings were skimpy, barely any sauce and lacked taste. So disappointing, does not compare to original Michael Kelly's.
Not that I have given much business since I've moved away, but I will not be back.
To the former owners - your absence is wildly apparent.

Seems like a new owner, and not for the better.
We stopped by while biking, looking for a quick refreshment. The place smelled like humidity, dark, not a nice place for me to stay, but the new owner (I assume) was overly eager, greeting us and inviting us in a bit too insistently for my taste.
He didn’t offer a menu, just listed three bottled beer brands when we asked. We each took one and stayed for a short while, but he kept pushing us to stay longer. Personally, I prefer a more laid-back atmosphere.
We paid $18.99 for two bottles of beer, which sealed the deal for us. Last time visiting.

The pizza here is absolutely incredible—it brings back memories of the authentic Chicago-style pizza I enjoyed while living in the U.S. I highly recommend giving it a try!
We went again and we met the owner, Amin, who was very chatty and a very nice person, especially with the kids. We will definitely keep going back.

The pizza we ordered was excellent.
Crust was thin & perfectly cooked. Not doughy.
The pizza ingredients were hand cut veggies, real pepperoni & bacon.
The butter tarts were tasty & not too sweet.
Service was excellent.
We will be back again. Our new go to pizza place.
We will try other food items on menu too.

We ordered two medium pizzas and a serving pack of their pecan tarts — and every bite was exceptional. The pizzas were perfectly cooked, with a beautifully balanced crust that had just the right texture and incredible flavor. As for the pecan tarts — they were a standout! Baked to perfection with a rich, buttery filling and just the right amount of sweetness. This place absolutely nailed it from start to finish.

After reading many reviews and recommendations for Michael Kelly's, I had to try it. It did not disappoint! Tried the pizza and it was delicious. The owner stopped by the table and thanked us for coming. The place was busy, and people came to pick up to-go orders. There's lots to try on the menu, so I'll be going again soon.

THE most awesome French onion soup and pizza. The homemade tarts were lovely. The service and attention were amazing. The 4 out of 5 went to the furnishings, which are a bit on the old side.

Our new go-to spot! This place is absolutely fantastic! The farmboy pizza and chicken tenders were a hit with the whole family—our toddlers loved them. The pizza tasted fresh and homemade, and my husband couldn’t stop raving about the butter tarts. Great food, friendly service, and perfect for families. We’ll definitely be coming back!
