We tried the souvlaki diner and poutine so good! Nice working staff kind, and tons of help. Would likely come back!

$17 for a chicken finger combo and it was all fries. Literally all three ( yes only three chicken fingers) fit on my one hand....it felt like a kids combo. This place has been bought twice now abd has strayed far from the original owners ideal. To cap it off the guys working there were kind of rude. If you're looking for a meal that is all filler served to you by a guy who seems annoyed that you came in. This is the place for you.

Probably one of the better chicken souvlaki in Durham. Gyro's are decent.
Not really a sit down restaurant. More of a to-go. But they do it well.

This burger/greek stop used to be the best in Whitby, hands down. I moved out of the area and was back in Whitby and it appears they changed ownership. This place went down hill. I should have known when there wasn’t a lineup for food. The burger was complete un edible. The bacon and the beef patty were both uncooked. Which I think is completely unacceptable as seeing I was the only one there the entirety of my time there. As an adult, you should know how cooked meat looks like. Completely unacceptable as a restaurant chef.

So sad to report one of my favourite restaurants is now under new ownership and it’s terrible. Food isn’t close to the same. Unsanitary, rude, forgot details of the order and sub par all around. Never going back.

Don't know what happened used to be a great place good burgers and chicken souvlaki. But it was completely inedible the burger bacon was more fat the bacon itself. It was loaded with mayo completely taking over the flavours and burger honestly has changed for the worst in quality. Fries were soggy and cold and the onion rings were stale. Looks like another local shop has gone down.

Really good food, it was hot and made to order, big portions (had leftovers!) and very friendly and accommodating staff. I’m glad I came here today.
What an absolute delicious pleasure. We had chicken souvlaki dinners and gyro sandwiches. We'll done guys. Tender juicy meat. Perfect rice and potatoes. Mmmmm

Honestly, disappointing. You can tell they have a bunch of fake, AI written, positive reviews.
Everything is overcooked, very greasy (I think their oil isn’t hot enough). Veg burger too thin relative to size of bun. Said 25 min wait for pickup but was 45 min, and they weren’t even busy. No customers in, a single door dash order while I was waiting, and two staff members. I don’t think they know what they’re doing. Everything’s frozen and you can tell.
Hope they get it together because nick didn’t used to cook like this!
I recently tried the Chicken Souvlaki Pita and Gyro Poutine.
The Chicken Souvlaki Pita was well-seasoned and juicy, with a satisfying char-grilled flavor. Wrapped in a warm, soft pita and topped with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and a creamy tzatziki sauce, it delivered a great balance of textures and flavors. The tzatziki was especially refreshing and tied everything together nicely.
The Gyro Poutine, a Greek-Canadian fusion twist, was surprisingly indulgent. It featured crispy fries topped with tender slices of gyro meat, rich gravy, and squeaky cheese curds. The savory meat and thick, flavorful gravy complemented the classic poutine base without overpowering it. It’s a heavier option but great for when you're craving comfort food with a twist.
I recently tried the Chicken Souvlaki Dinner at Tom’s Grill and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was tender, well-seasoned, and grilled perfectly with a nice smoky flavor. It came with a generous serving of rice, a fresh Greek salad, and warm pita bread. The tzatziki was creamy and tangy—great for dipping both the chicken and pita.
Portion size was very big, and the plate looked well put together. Service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere at Tom’s Grill was relaxed and clean, perfect for a casual dinner
Their food is delicious every single time I make my way around the whitby area again. They've been open for quite a long time, i believe, since I was a teenager. The quality and price along with service have not hindered even with different owners. (Assuming this as the name has changed). Always a pleasant interaction, short wait time for food. Great conversation with staff and the restaurant is clean and tidy. Plenty of seating options and the menu is pretty diverse in options. Love this place and will continue to visit when im in the area!
Very delicious food, would recommend my friends to go there.
