Food made fresh to order takes a bit of time which I am okay with and appreciate! Such an interesting space to dine-in at. The onion ring batter is different from the norm but delicious. Standard hotdog, also delicious. I would recommend this place for uncomplicated food at a good price!

Ordered Through Skip. Well before closing. Plus they accepted the order. Waited 25 mins and cancelled on us. Leaving us with no dinner. If they think they dont need an order to the point the cancel on their guests , our group eats here 9x a month. Not anymore and never again. Now a Rudys customer.

*TRASH* I was hungry and saw this place. Ordered a burger, onion rings, coleslaw and milkshake. Waited 25 minutes for the food! The woman in front of me ordered only fries and also waited 25 minutes! When I got the food it was so disappointing, the coleslaw tasted old, the burger was fatty the toppings tasted expired and old, the onion rings were 90% dough and not crispy and to top it off the milkshake was vanilla icecream with chocolate sauce blended up. Just not good. Would not recommend.

THIS WAS THE WORST HAMBURGER RESTAURANT I'VE EVER BEEN TO. THE STEAKETTES WERE BURNT, THE FRIES WERE JUST HEATED UP, AND THE ONION RINGS ??? I DON'T KNOW HOW THRY WERE COOKED !!! DID NOT REALIZE THAT JOHNNY WAS NOT THERE ANYMORE AS WE HAD MOVED AWAY !!! BACK VISITING PEOPLE AND FIGURED WE'D HAVE A GREAT BURGER !!! UNFORTUNATELY ENDED UP THROWING IT OUT AND WENT TO STARR BURGER WHERE THE FOOD HAS NEVER CHANGED !!!! IF I COULD PUT A ZERO DOWN I WOULD HAVE !! THERE IS NO WAY THAT JOHNNY'S RESTAURANT SHOULD STILL HAVE THAT NAME !!! IT'S NOT DESERVED AT ALL !!!!!

The guy was very rude didn’t speak English that good. l’ve been there years ago when it was good and owned by Johnny ! we had 3 hamburgers 2 Fries and onions ring all the hamburgers were burnt and the fries heated up onion rings were not cooked. The place was very dirty inside this is the worse hamburger place l’ve been in many years . I should have went up the street to Starr burger . Like l said stay away from this place.

Just keeps getting worse ..cant organize a simple order for take out ..got a burger combo x2 with pouting and I swear the fryer oil had not been changed in months ..I called he told me they change every Thursday?? Umm if your doing lots of fries onion rings..needs be changed every other day ..I ve worked in take out greasy spoons before ..I know this . Onion rings had no onion in them and chewy ..iam 5 min walk from north end burger ..and I can say ..iam done with them.
