I've been eating pho for 30 years ago all over the gta. This place is the absolute number 1 place for pho. Not an exaggeration. Bun bo hue is also amazing here and arguably one of the best. The broth here is balanced and yet deep in flavour. That first sip warms you very soul. The owner is a gentle man who comes out to greet and serve the table himself. Such a nice man.

Arguable the most authentic Vietnamese food in Durham. Pleasantly surprised with how extensive their menu is. Their Bon Bo Hue is rich in flavour. We’ve tried their pho before too and they pack it full of herbs. Highly recommend to everyone!

It’s was ok not the best pho broth in Oshawa. Ordered a large but this bowl is surely a medium at other pho restaurants. The place was nice and clean tho. Wife had the chicken vermicelli and she wasn’t too impressed either. Payed a lot for those 2 dishes and walked out feeling meh.

Horrible food and customer service. I waited 30 minutes just to order and the guy told me to kindly screw off. When I finally got my food the beef tasted like rat it was awful. I highly suggest not coming to this pho spot many other better options.

this place is a hidden jewel - wish i had found it earlier - good fresh food - served with fantastic condiments- you have to try their homemade chili oil and the pickled garlic on the table - fantastic - one of my best meals in a long time of mediocre - Sam s a lovely friendly person - so many reasons to come back frequently
Good taste but the vermicelli portion is smaller than others. The pho sizes are different on this restaurant. What is considered medium size pho at other pho places, it is called “large” at Pho Sam and priced at large size. What is considered small pho size at other pho places, it is called “medium” and priced at medium size. A bit disappointing since they charge normal prices for not normal sizes. The rice dishes have good portion and good taste as well. Would recommend if you don’t mind the pho sizes issue.

Meat all not fresh, meat ball is sour. Just a reminds when i paid and left. His answer Was So speechless, "Impossible, They're fresh ones." What???yeah seemed like that's my first time eat pho, and my first time meet beef and meat ball. Not busy but very very slow! No service at all. Except something shit on the beach....

The best PHO in Durham!! I’ve been here 10+ times because of how flavorful the broth is. They are generous with the meat portions as well. Our kids love the short rib with rice. Their hot sauce/chilli paste is made in house and the best I’ve ever had. They also give pickled garlic, which I love. Very unique. And great service too, quick and efficient.
