From the email correspondence with Elizabete (who not only put together a special order for me but also offered me words of encouragement) to the wonderful conversation when I went to pick up my order. When I got there, I was greeted with smiles and such warmth from the family that I felt less like a customer and more like a member of the family or a close friend. A quick pick up turned into a 20 minute conversation, filled with laughter and kindness. I felt like I could have stayed and chatted with them all afternoon had I not been on a schedule. On top of this amazing customer service, the treats were absolutely delicious! Elizabete prepared a beautiful platter of assorted vegan treats. As a non vegan, I had my reservations about how these treats would taste. They were so good that I was eager to try every kind! My favourites are the hello dollies and the peanut molasses cookies. I’m excited to try their cakes and cupcakes too! I have been raving about this place to friends and family. They make every single person through the door feel like family, it is truly such a rare and special place. I walked into this bakery as I keep passing by and noticing how nice it looks! The man at the register was super friendly and gave me a pumpkin spice cookie just for coming in. He recommended the white chocolate cheesecake cup and it was SO good. The portion size was quite large too - good for two people to share in my opinion. I will be coming back and bringing friends. 10/10 would recommend.
