I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but after several visits to this St. Louis location, I feel compelled to share my experience.
Unfortunately, I've had the same server each time (a shorter woman with long brown hair) and each visit has been equally disappointing. Her energy is consistently cold, there's no greeting, no smile, and her rushed demeanor makes it feel like my presence is an inconvenience. She often forgets items and doesn’t check-in for long stretches.
Tonight was no different. My partner and I came in for a late dinner and were immediately met with, “Last call is at 10:30,” delivered with zero warmth. Not a “Hi,” not a “Welcome”, just that. We were seated, and when she returned a couple of minutes later for our drink order, we apologized for not being ready... only to realize there wasn’t even a drink menu at the table. She walked away and didn’t return. After getting the drink menu from another server, we just decided to leave.
At this point, we’ve simply decided she’s not our cup of tea. I do have to wonder why someone chooses to work in hospitality if they consistently make customers feel like a burden. A little kindness and effort would go a long way.
