Had the French dip. It was underwhelming. We love state and main and it has been our go to for a date night. Personally the French dip if it continues to be like this shouldn't be on the menu. It's just not the same calibre as the other dishes. Good service and location good price overall. Still like the restaurant

Food and Service were good but the noise level was too much. It wasn't very busy but it was very loud in there. We had a hard time to hear each other and had to talk loudly. I suspect the layout of the restaurant is not good for the acoustics.

I had the spicy Thai chicken salad the description said mango and avocado. I dug deep for a tiny cube of mango and barely any avocado. Disappointing.

We have always had a great time here. The ambiance and feel of the restaurant/bar are relaxing and inviting. The food is yummy, and they are the ONLY place that I am able to get my favorite wine at!! They have great specials and happy hours! Serving staff are friendly and helpful. We go there whenever we can!!

We always love going to State & Main but we sat in the bar area this time and service was not the greatest, food was cold and our server didn't attend to us much at all. A little disappointed this visit!

A group of 8 for a birthday celebration this evening was a success. My missus had the fish ‘n chips but i splurged on a small steak. Both were excellent especially my steak that was cooked perfectly to Rare/Medium.
Great selection of craft beers and a reasonable wine list.
Service was exceptional. Kayla was professional and lively and even laughed at my jokes. 😜. They even had no trouble presenting a birthday cake that we brought in - a nice touch.
Horrible experience will not ever return. Waited over an hour for 3 steaks, after asking what's taking so long we were kicked out. Never again, stay away !!!!

Saw a lot of conflicting reviews about the service here and was a bit hesitant to give it a try but my husband and i had date night here on a Sunday evening and the service was great. Our server was efficient and very amicable. Drinks were excellent and food was good too. We had the New york strip and Honey glazed cajun chicken. Both were well seasoned and cooked to our liking . Overall good experience and will definitely return to try other menu items.
