Everybody loves tacos but here their flavours have so much more depth than the average taco joint. Their food is quality and you can taste the love put into it. Decor is nice. Cocktails are strong and Devine. Guaranteed to leave satisfied.

The food and drinks were good. It was pretty busy, so service wasn’t the greatest (understandably). The menu is pretty limited, but honesty the food was soooo good it was worth it. Also there is a paid parking lot at the back.

Food was alright, nothing out of the ordinary special taco.. but still delicious..
It was so loud I could not hear the 5 other people & the light was so dimmed we couldn't read the menu...
I'm just curious why there are no non alcoholic drinks on the menu?!

I finally tried out Surf, after reading so many great reviews on Durham Eats... I took my neice for her birthday dinner...we had the jackfruit jerk tacos, the fish tacos, the bieria tacos, all 100% delish!!! Oh, the guacamole was also very very good..a huge portion, so so fresh! Then because it was her birthday...we had to have the churros...OMG, fresh hot home made churros with coconut ice cream, with a guava drizzle, and a cinnamon dulce de leitche(sp) dip. To die for..... We did not have and drinks but they all look and sound awesome!

A Salty Affair
I’ll start with the positives: The ambiance was warm, inviting and perfect for a night out. The decor? Lovely, even Instagram-worthy. Our server was friendly and attentive, making the experience as pleasant as possible.
Now, the food.
We ordered nachos and street corn, thinking they were foolproof choices. Oh, how wrong we were. The nachos seemed to have doubled as a kitchen sponge for a salt spill, while the street corn normally a messy, flavorful treat arrived so over-seasoned it could have been used to brine a turkey.
At some point, we had to make a choice: Stay and risk turning into human jerky or leave with our dignity (and kidney function) intact. We chose life.
One star—for the decor, ambiance, and the lovely server. The food, however, needs a serious de-salting

Decided not to endure the drive into Toronto, and gave this local place a try tonight. First time, but definitely not the last.. Superb Coctails, Great food with their own distinct flavors, the waitresses, bartender all a cut above the rest !! Great vibe , only suggestion would be to add Carajillo, or some other type of coffee cocktail for a nice Digestif after the meal or along with dessert, but that's just polish on the 5th star..

The food is *chefs kiss* good! The Mexican street corn is definitely a favourite paired with guac and some tacos. Great for a date night! They are so nice that they will let you harvest some of the spider plant babies to bring home too 😉
