Something about the sushi I ordered here tasted really off. The rice didn’t taste fresh which gave the overall sushi a bit of a bland taste. The torched sushi and pressed sushi were great. In contrast, the Tuna Lovers combo that included tuna sashimi, tuna sushi and spicy tuna rolls - all of them tasted completely off, meaning not fresh at all. I wouldn’t order the basic sashimi or sushi here again. I’ve had better tasting and fresh sushi at other places in Durham.
The service could also be better - found the girl taking orders to not have the basic customer service etiquette or friendliness when welcoming guests to the restaurant.

I always get takeout from Sushi Ninja and I have never been disappointed. The sushi is always ready on time and I appreciate their consistency in taste and serving quantity. They also give 10% off when you pay cash so it really helps on the big orders. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I can tell that this restaurant is run by a master chef because every time I order from here I always have a 10/10 meal. My personal favs from here are the Saba and Unagi sushi, the teriyaki here is also very good, would definitely recommend!

Absolutely delicious sushi is made here. The place isn’t much to look at, but don’t let that fool you. This is excellent quality sushi for a very reasonable price, and the Soy sauce they serve with it is incredible. Will definitely be back.

Absolute horrible customer service, the girl gave me an attitude while I ordered which I was very polite to her the entire time. She then was giving me a death stare while I waited, finally after my order of just two items was done she shook it and called here like she was speaking to a dog she was annoyed with. This is unacceptable and you need to have a serious talk about how you treat customers. Other than that the food was Good.
