Tatemono used to be my first option for Japanese food. The last two visits were a bit frustrating. Staff shortage is causing multiple issues and needs urgent management attention.

This place is a little pricey. That being said, the food was good, especially the chicken teriyaki - it was delicious. The service was very disappointing. We started getting our sushi and didn't have wasabi. We asked for it and got it eventually. Our soup came after the sushi. I asked for another drink and they forgot about it. The bathrooms are very modern and look beautiful except for the spider cocoons growing in the corners! I really wanted to like this place but for the price we paid I expected much better. Improve your service and clean the bathrooms.

Went to pick up two premium sushi orders and one deluxe. When I asked the tall Asian woman working there where the soup and salad was she said you don’t get it when you order from there meaning Skip the Dishes. I told her I have been ordering from there for 10 years and never not got it she’s in took her orange iPad and shoved me with it and told me to get out. At that point I dropped the order which I was holding because I was in shock. I stooped over picked it up and told her I would never be back again at which point she turned around and took her orange iPad and hit me with it, She literally followed me out the door I’m 63 years old she was probably 20. She hit me about four or five times I was in complete shock I told her I was going to call the police I have not done so yet, I’m not interested in getting into a he said she said but I will never go back there again.

This has now become part of the Makimono chain. We ordered take out from the store’s website to support a local place during this difficult time. We ordered directly so the restaurant would not have to pay the commission to the delivery company. They overcharged us (charged us more than what the order would have been through the delivery company) and when I phoned the person was rude and kept repeating “then cancel your order Sent an email to their contact address and received a completely unsatisfactory answer. Will not visit or order ever!

Amazing place, just like Kakemono and Makimono! The dragon rolls are superb! They need more staff during peak times though, as the place is always packed!
