Delivery , so perhaps that’s why my meal came warmish . I hate to bring bad news. I have lived in Whitby for years and wanted to try this. I read a few reviews some warning of simple pub fare. I ordered prime rib I will include photo . Med/rare. Baked potato, and to please add utensils and butter. Came about an hour later . I was fine with that. But as soon as I pulled out of bag the container had no heat to it. They added carrots n a piece of corn .. as you will see in photo. Looked beautiful! I go to eat no utensils, no butter, but fine . Yes this chunk of meat was cold. So tough My beat knife did not work … ohhh 😮 I was so disappointed. So I ate what looked like the end cut of roast the best I could with my hands. Salty, too much pepper and the Du jour sauce had a weird ketchup flavour. So as beautiful as my photo is don’t read a photo by its cover. Read more reviews !

This is usually our go-to spot. Unfortunately, today the food and service were basic. We had the lobster dip. Was 1/2 cup of cream cheese with some herbs. No lobster to be found for $22. The French dip was different from the usual recipe. Overloaded with horseradish mayo on a 1/3 of a baguette and the fries had a terrible after taste, like they were soaked in dirty water. The short rib pizza was delicious though. The service was slow. Hopefully this is not the new norm as we used to really enjoy the service and innovative menu items.

I used the catering services for my moms 60th birthday party and was so incredibly happy with both the service and food. Maddison was so pleasant to deal with and made the experience a smooth and easy one. I will 100% be using the Brock House again for furture family events and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for delicious food and great service! Thanks so much Maddison and staff!

The food was mediocre. The service was terrible. We were seated with 2 kids (8 and 10) and they were given adult menus. This was intentional as we watched the servers hand them the adult menus. I asked the server “do you have kids menus”? “Yes”, and then I literally had to say “can I get them please”? The waitress dropped them off without crayons. She actually asked “do you want crayons”? Everything was an up charge, $1.50 for pepperoni on the kids pizzas. $4 for extra Au Jus. My husband was asked if he wanted onions on his steak, he said sure. That was also an up charge. Our entire bill was up charges and it felt like this business was “nickel and diming” us. Anyway, this is just a long winded review just to say that we were so disappointed with this place and would recommend others to just go to the Keg.

We had brunch here on Sunday. The food itself was delicious with a good variety, but the service was very disappointing. Our server made an odd comment while looking at our plates, saying “oh you are crashing it,” which came across as unprofessional. Only a few minutes later, he asked if we were going for another round or if he should bring the cheque — essentially rushing us while we were still eating. The awkward and pushy service really overshadowed the food and left a negative impression

Went there for anniversary dinner and was disappointed When making reservation told then was my anniversary and wanted a quiet table. When arrived was seated beside a party of 20 men that were very loud and a booth by the kitchen and exit door to patio was very busy was not wished Happy Anniversary or complimentary dessert Other then that our server was friendly and food was great
