I love poke bowls so wanted to try this one out, some order instructions on Uber didn’t make sense to me so I called in. Keiona helped me through my order in such a patient way! I love the food, but the service is amazing! Definitely recommend!

I have gotten take out from this place a couple of times. When my partner and I look for a healthier option that's also super filling, we come here from Scarborough! We love the lava blaze and honestly any of their poke! Super fresh ingredients and you can customize the greens and rice options to your liking as well as additional light toppings! Definitely recommend checking this place out for poke if you haven't tried it already.Whenever we come here, they're usually busy with ubereats orders, do I'd recommend ordering ahead if you don't want to wait.

The woman working at this establishment is absolutely miserable. Clearly hates being there, throwing things around out of frustration. The four of us that went in were stunned. Also, assumed that we wouldn't be eating in and started telling her colleague to put the food in the bag because they are closing even though it was more than half hour before they were closed. The food is delicious but unfortunately the customer experience deters us from going back.

I love this place. I used to order from the Markham location a lot and was thrilled when they opened this spot in Whitby. It is my go to. Perfect portions, always fresh, best flavour. No other poke bowls compare. Atmosphere is good, clean and the staff are always friendly.

We are huge fans of the Poke Box, and, grab takeout a couple of times a month. My go to is usually the Lava Blaze poke bowl but have tried the Big Umami and the Poke Box bowls and they are all excellent.The fish and vegetables are fresh, the sauces are delicious and the portions are generous. Prices have recently increased, but, I still find it to be a good value.

Ordered online and it was late. It appears that walk-in customers get priority. I had to order a drink at the cashier as drinks are not available on online orders. Cashier seemed to be easily distracted as he engaged in a conversation with his colleague during my order.
I know my photos don’t do any justice but believe me, the poke bowls are really good! The ingredients are very fresh, the salmon is soft and melts in your mouth, and the bowl itself is massive!

Today we visited Poke Box Whitby after many great experiences there, but had a terrible customer service experience and left without buying any food. The young lady serving us didnt acknowledge our concern for a sesame allergy, as she said she wouldn’t anything with the allergen but then added multiple that included sesame. When we asked her to remove those items, she said she didn’t know what was inside each and for us to look at it. Once we asked again, she removed the item and put another sesame item into the dish. Each time we expressed our concern or tried to ask her not to add an item or remind her of the allergy, she cut us off and ignored what we were trying to say. We then said we don’t want the food anymore (because of her lack of cooperation and understanding of our allergy), she said the food she prepared would go to waste. We politely said no thank you, and she threw the food down angrily. The food at Poke Box has been amazing in our past experiences there, but today was a very poor customer experience.

As a couple of recent reviews have mentioned it looks like poke box got a case of greedflation. I used to frequent this spot often and got many friends and family to try it out as it was so good, but recently portions have gotten smaller and prices gone up. I noticed in a previous review the owner commented that the portions are the same and thst they weigh the portions and its just the box that got bigger. What a complete lie, portions are not weighed and they did get smaller and prices higher even if they are using a bigger size box. Why would they use a bigger size box to make the portion size look smaller -that's a fail in marketing 101. Hopefully they revert back to how they used to be cause of they don't im not coming back.
