Each dish was fully composed and well thought out - had all the elements that make a stand-out dish. Cooked perfectly too. Delicious. The squash did not pair well with the other dishes, but that's our opinion.
The service staff was just as amazing as the food. Attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Made us feel comfortable.
The restaurant is nice, they've made a lot out of a little space in a strip mall. Will be back.

Another incredible experience last night. From the appies to mains to dessert - to tasty cocktails. The flavours are instinctively mixed together in the most incredible way that your taste buds are completely grasping for words to describe the party in your mouth experience. We ordered the Tuna Tartare Big Mac, the sunflower spelt bread, spicy pork chop, honey roasted squash salsa machi and French fries. Brought home the vanilla cake with chocolate sea salt icing which was absolutely divine. The staff are consistently exceptional and it's a dining experience that is well worth the wait to get on the wait list. If you are foodie - this is an absolute MUST on your list.

The Springwood is hands down the best food in the Durham Region. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the food and drinks are consistently incredible, and it genuinely feels on par with some of the best restaurants in Toronto.
I’ve been here many times and will keep coming back. You can really taste the difference with the farm-to-table approach and fresh, high-quality ingredients. The ever-changing menu keeps things exciting and makes every visit feel new.

Incredible dining experience! The trout dip and steak tartare were the perfect ways to start off our meal. The duck was delectable and paired nicely with the braised cabbage. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. You could tell she was also passionate about the food and drinks. She had the perfect wine pairing recommendation! I can't wait to come back and try next seasons offerings.
