If the owners are reading this, then, please note that there is this girl who was present today on 10th August Saturday, every time we go, she puts in a very, very less quantity. Even though we ordered two scoop, the total amount of our cream was hardly equal to one scoop. This is not an issue with other staff when we go on other days. I don’t know every time we see this lady she always Serve very less ice cream. The quantity is not consistent and we feel cheated, not worth the money.

Great little ice cream spot in downtown Brooklin - the road in front of the store is blocked off and set up with benches and seating so you can enjoy the ice cream on a nice summer day.
They serve all of the Kawartha Dairy Flavours.

Icecream was good however be mindful, they may try to charge you prices that aren’t on the menu. My partner and I went in late last night and ordered a mini which comes with two flavours. Th person behind the counter mentioned she could put it in 2 cups to which we said sure, if that’s okay. She failed to mention that they treat it as two half mini’s which isn’t on the menu and when we went to pay an order that should have been $6 and change turned into $9 and change. We told them we were unaware that putting it in 2 cups would result in higher charge (around 4 dollars per cup) but we were receiving the same amount of ice-cream so this was found to be ridiculous and doesn’t make sense. As we weren’t aware of this surcharge, and we hadn’t touched the ice-creams we told them to put it back into one cup since it’s completely unnecessary to pay for something because the staff failed to mention something that they should have. however they refused and said it would be a waste of the cup. Had we known of this surcharge, this would be a different story as we would have consented to this. Even after all this, this was enough of a reason for us to just leave the store without paying however we did not. They do have a price of .50 cents for an extra cup on the menu so I’m unsure of why this wasn’t the initial added charge. It’s completely unfortunate that my partner and I had to tell them to charge us for an extra cup along with our mini and this wasn’t a solution that came from the staff. Unfortunate, because the icecream is good, the service alone with this ruined our experience and our ability to enjoy the icecream as my partner and I were both annoyed by the situation.

Friendly staff and great variety of flavours of ice cream! A little expensive for a kids sized scope.
Victoria Day afternoon visit to store which has a line up outside. Time moved quite quickly. There were several choices of kawartha ice cream. You could get regular, sugar or waffle cone or cup. They also had milkshakes and soda floats and a specialty Brooklyn Tower with multiple scoops and toppings. Chose the classic moose tracks and rum raisin mini in a waffle cone which was 11/2 scoops. Very nice, reasonable price and large size. There was parking beside building but was not wheel chair accessible. Lovely little gem and worth a visit.

I love getting my Kawartha cone from this little shop. The servers are always quick and friendly. And of course you can't beat Kawartha ice cream for number of flavour options to please everyone. The pink colour creates a nice vibe and the little green grassy area out front is perfect to let the kids play while they eat their cone.

We found this randomly because we were in the area and craving for some ice cream. A cute little local shop with Kawartha flavours. The employee that was working was working extra hard as they were the only one there and it was a bit busy. Kudos to them for getting through customers so timely with great service!
