Best fish and chips I’ve had in a while! I’d roll the calendar back and make it Friday again if I could. I had my mind blown in many different directions today! I would definetly pay for the textbooks and materials needed to learn how to make that batter mmm so crunchy! Stop in check it out I heard the wings are good too. Always be nice to your server, she is probably working pretty damn hard. God knows she administered the right meal and refreshments for me to feel like saying so! What’s the Saturday special!?

Stayed in White River for one night. Loved this restaurant. Food is delious ! Other customers were kind of loud. The place was crowded. Wish it was less busy. Would of been perfect. Only had one waitress.

AMAZING!!! We’re driving back to the Bruce Peninsula from Vancouver Island and we’ve been living off instant noodles so we thought we’d treat ourselves. Got the fish and chips and the butter chicken and DAMNNNN I was not expecting such quality food in the middle of nowhere!! The fish batter was perfectly crisp and the chips are perfection, just crisp enough and soft in the middle, also the flavour was excellent!! The butter chicken was very impressive! First of all, I wasn’t even expecting it on the menu so I had to try it! For a bar and grill in northern Ontario, this butter chicken was especially tasty! Not watery like some other places, and the ingredients are very clear (looks home made). It’s also served with salad, lemon rice, and naan, creating a perfectly balanced and healthy meal!! The portions for both dishes were perfect, leaving us both slightly stuffed but still comfortable (what I want from a restaurant during a road trip)! The price of these dishes was also awesome! $21 for each, which is pretty much the highest price I saw on the menu. Totally reasonable! If you have the time and are debating whether to go here or A&W DEFINITELY GO HERE!! Not even a competition, worth the extra $ ???
