Very rude.
Very clean washroom for customers. Lots of snacks to choose from in the store. Did not stop for food but the restaurant smelled good!
Excellent spot for good-value lunch on edge of National Park. Daily specials and gluten-free options.
That blonde waitress seems like she really hates her job or being there. Worst service ever. We were looking to enjoying breakfast and did come in before 11am, but by the time she got out menus and all, it was 11:15 and when we ordered our “2 classic breakfasts” she said “breakfast is over” in the rudest tone ever. We said “but we were in before 11” and she said “it’s over”. So we said “well, we don’t know what we want now” and she literally took out menus and walked away. Insanely rude. We took out business elsewhere :)
You won't regret stopping in for a tasty meal whether you're driving by and stopping for gas or dropping in on a cold wet day of camping at Algonquin park.
The menu and food are simple but quite tasty and cooked perfectly.
The atmosphere has that quaint, small town diner feel.
The real star of the show though is the service. More specifically, Jessica. Professional, but extremely kind, personable and likeable. I'm pretty certain it would be virtually impossible to get upset with this woman.
Overall I would absolutely recommend this establishment.
A strange man running the store.
Very tasty freshly cooked food. Enjoyed special, which was cod burger and turkey soup. Juicy cod in batter was delicious ( it was so good that I forgot to take pictures for the review 👌😉)
Sitting with the view on Madawaska river was also very nice
We stopped in on Monday for breakfast. One of the best breakfast's we've had through our travels. Service was quick and our server was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back next time we visit the park.
I had buffalo chicken wings tonight..so so good best I have had in a long time enjoyed them ..and the creamy chicken soup was delicious 😋 also yum yum if you like wings check them out
Excellent!
Super cozy small town feel. The hiker’s breakfast was delicious and our server Jess was so friendly and helpful.
It is located very close to the snowmobile trail and only a short drive from Algonquin Park. Very clean dining area and washrooms.
5/5 we will be back!
