I’ve been to The Bread Bowl three times now, and it has quickly become one of my favorite spots. I’ve tried the Curry Chicken sandwich and the Cajun Chicken melt—both were absolutely delicious. The sourdough bread is toasted to perfection, and the Curry Chicken filling is generous, with pieces of apricot that add a lovely touch of sweetness. While staying at Sauble Falls Provincial Park, my husband and I drove to downtown Wiarton. What a lovely area! We decided to stop in at the Bread Bowl. We had the roast beef sandwich and the Cajun chicken sandwich. And OMG! Absolutely delicious 😋 The bread, meat, everything was so good. If we didn't live 3 hours away, we would be weekly patrons.

Their home made bread recipe takes things to the next level. I won’t give away their secret, you will have to ask John about his family recipe; which I will say is quite unique.
