Great food, nice folks
Absolutely delicious food!!!! Can hardly wait to go back.
Good food and service. Very friendly
Great little Chinese Canadian spot. Ordered lunch combos for takeout and they were great for their price. Pretty standard fare and definitely meets that occasional craving for chicken balls and fried rice.
Excellent service! Went above & beyond to make sure everything was right!.Enjoy a nice meal from a lovely host!Thank you!
Nice establishment, rice portion on dinner for 3 is a little bit small. Absolutley delicious food. Very clean and well-run business. For sure will be back for more.
SKIP IT.Someone show them SALT. I had rice more dry than the Sahara desert. If you want water or are dehydrated, make sure to spend 12 dollars for a container of water with salt less boiled chicken. How do you mess up salt? A fast food chinese joint will hit the spot better than this "restaurant". You will get a piece of chicken for every handful of veggies.
This place will always be home for me! My family owned it from 1991-2001 and I got a bit nostalgic. Yah I’m bias. To this day I still can’t find food from old fashioned Chinese food that we use to make.
I enjoyed my meal very much
My favorite for all veggie dishes!Wonton Soup ever! Now for years!Great people, very personal able

Good food . Fast take out
Wiarton inn much better
It's a time machine dining experience. They serve classic 1970s small-town, main street Chinese Canadian food. I grew up one of the few Chinese kids in a small town and I make a point of stopping in to these mom and pop restaurants when I have the opportunity. I have driven past Kgum Bo for 30 years and finally stopped in. I was rewarded with a Bo Bo Platter complete with flaming sterno grill. The food, fixtures and dishes are a throw-back, right down to the folded crown napkins. Don't go in expecting Peking duck, this is Canadian chicken ball cuisine. The only downside to the visit is the bathrooms seem to be caught in the same time vortex.
There the service is fast and very polite the look of the restaurant is very nice the food is fantastic my partner and i order take out and eat in all the time. Very enjoyable
Stopped here for simple quick lunch. Hubby had shrimp lunch special. Average shrimp more breading than shrimp. And I had sesame chicken lunch special. Chicken and sauce yummy. Egg roll average and beef chop suey very good. Rice different red sauce and dry. Not normal chicken fried rice. Needed plum sauce and soya sauce addition for flavour and moisture. Waitress quiet but friendly.
