Great little Chinese Canadian spot. Ordered lunch combos for takeout and they were great for their price. Pretty standard fare and definitely meets that occasional craving for chicken balls and fried rice.
This place will always be home for me! My family owned it from 1991-2001 and I got a bit nostalgic. Yah I’m bias. To this day I still can’t find food from old fashioned Chinese food that we use to make.
It's a time machine dining experience. They serve classic 1970s small-town, main street Chinese Canadian food. I grew up one of the few Chinese kids in a small town and I make a point of stopping in to these mom and pop restaurants when I have the opportunity. I have driven past Kgum Bo for 30 years and finally stopped in. I was rewarded with a Bo Bo Platter complete with flaming sterno grill.
