Great place for comfort food. This is a tavern, not a fine dining restaurant, and should be assessed as such. The perogies are large and really tasty, the large size a Wino Tavern tradition. The cabbage roll was very good as well. We always leave very full, and we order the smaller combo plates. (I can't fathom how any review could refer to the portion sizes as tiny). Great atmosphere, and friendly servers.

I ordered the polish platter and it was very good! My daughter on the other hand ordered from the kids menu the creamy macaroni and cheese and no joke it was actually Kraft dinner. We Could not believe our eyes or the price which was 10 dollars.Very disappointed they would even serve that with such a price tag.

I can only speak for the more traditional, Polish-influenced section of the menu… but it’s pretty delicious, and very reasonably priced for the portions you get. I couldn’t finish my 2 big cabbage rolls and pierogi, but quite enjoyed them. The pierogi was pretty much perfect, and the cabbage rolls could have had more seasoning but were overall well done. I also had a pretzel that had the perfect contrast between crisp exterior and soft interior.Overall, seems like good rib-sticking food and a very friendly atmosphere too.

Coffee and dessert was very good. We stopped midafternoon Thursday. The waitress was quite chatty with only other couple in the restaurant. Meanwhile we had to be patient to get a refill as we were the adjacent table but that didn't register with her. Young and inexperienced will change over time.
