We stumbled in here on a whim late Sunday night after visiting Upper Canada Village. From Ottawa, we’d never heard of this place and wow were we missing out. Staff were super friendly and kind, vibes were warm and cheery. That pizza tho 😮💨. Listen I could describe it to you or you can get on up and head on in the try the BEST pizza in Canada.

I ordered a small BBQ Chicken pizza with no tomato and no basil cooked well done, with a garlic dip on the side. Would just like to say that may have been one of the best pizzas I’ve had in my life. I like my pizzas cooked really well done and they didn’t disappoint. Had zero issues taking off 2 topping and was also offered if I wanted another veggie topping instead. I could tell first bite the ingredients are high quality and the homemade garlic dip is literally to die for. I would honestly put this place in my top 3 from that pizza alone. Only time I’ve had pizza that was this good was from 2 spots I like in Toronto. Also would like to note whenever I went into pick it up the lady at the front was really nice and the guy in the back making the pizzas looked like he was born to make pizza, could see the passion.

I read all the reviews and was hesitant about eating there but I took the chance. We ordered the Margarita Pizza and the Philly steak sub with a poutine on the side. The sub was very good, we loved it (was made on the short Ciabatta bun). Someone had left a review here on Google saying the fries were greasy, they absolutely were not! They were really good actually and so was the gravy. The pizza was really good, the only complaint I have is that the dough wasn’t cooked all the way through. The crust was perfect, the bottom was perfect but under the cheese you can see it was still raw. Other than that, the flavour was there and we would eat there again.

Beautiful homemade soups, delicious pizza with a gluten free option and the staff are the best 😄
They do things differently here, in a good way. The croissant style wrap for the chicken wraps are amazing. Staff was super friendly too.

iron forge pizza is so freaking good, the food always comes out fresh and the portions are perfect. staff are super friendly and welcoming every time i go in, they make the place feel chill and comfortable. the pizza is always loaded with toppings and tastes amazing. definitely one of my favorite spots in winchester for grabbing a bite
