I was coming back to the Toronto area from Detroit, MI after a day trip and I saw this spot in Windsor and figured I’d give it a try.
I do not regret it at all and I was so happy I went. Aldimashqi Chicken has given me one of the best saj shawarma meals I ever had!
The server who made me the food and took my order was very polite and engaged me in conversation, telling me about Windsor and his business. I rarely get conversations with people when at eating establishments so it was a breath of fresh air! I don’t remember his name unfortunately but he was a very nice guy!
As for the food itself, it was AMAZING! The smoky, tender chicken in the grilled pita coupled with their sauces and coleslaw made it all the better! Amazing food and prices were decent as well! I would come back here if I was in Windsor again, or even if you’re a local, please support this business. They’re very good and they’re an underrated gem!

The food was incredible — you can tell he puts real effort into making it taste great. It felt more personal than just going out to eat, and that made the whole experience even better. I recently stumbled across this place while on my hunt for the best shawarma I could find. As if now this is the Winner.
The shawarmas packed with immense flavour with hints of lemon. And don’t even get me started on the creamy garlic sauce! FOOD: 11/10
It’s rare nowadays to find the type of customer service that alsmashqi provides. I was told that there in new ownership by the handsome young man running the store. He explained to me how every day he try’s to improve his shawarma. Idk about yall but that’s the type of guy I want making my shawarma(also offered me free drinks and even a free shawarma). CUSTOMER SERVICE: 11/10
The only bad things I can say about it is location. Parking can be difficult and this not a huge amount of room to eat inside.
In conclusion YOU MUST TRY ALDMASHQI !!!

I went to Aldimashqi Chicken with three of my friends, and the experience was absolutely unforgettable. We ordered the chicken shawarma and the chicken broast, and both were on another level of flavor and quality. The shawarma was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and wrapped with care, while the broast was crispy on the outside and tender inside — cooked to perfection.
A special mention to Chef Zacharia — his skills in the kitchen are top-notch. You can immediately tell that he puts passion and craftsmanship into every dish. His hospitality and warm personality made our dining experience even better.
