Originally, I am from Windsor, but now live in London. The pizza in London is not good at all. So every time I go home to Windsor I run over to Arcata to get the Arcata Special Pizza. One pizza to eat in the car, and another half cooked one to take home and finish cooking for later!!! Best pizza ever!!! This is how pizza should taste!!! <3

Just happened to be in Windsor today for my son’s soccer game. After reading an CBC article about amazing Windsor pizza and on a recommendation from a very good friend, I dropped by Arcata pizzeria.
From this Italian, this is THE BEST pizza I’ve ever had. What can I say, homemade taste, quality and service multiplied by 1,000. When I walked in the front door and said this is my first time here, I was greeted like family. I asked what’s good, mind you anything on their menu is amazing, I was told the Super was the best selling pizza. It’s topped with mushrooms, green peppers, SHREDDED pepperoni, ham, and onions. Shredded pepperoni is where it’s at: instead oil in curved pepperoni when cooked…no oily pizza. The crust, thin and crispy. Of course the sauce is brilliant- not the fake stuff you usually get…homemade!! Put it all together makes this pizza perfection. And coming from an Italian, that means something. Lol.
Next time you’re in Windsor…stop by Arcata Pizzeria - you will not be disappointed.

Came and picked up a pizza that my brother had ordered on the phone a few hours ago. I was greeted at the door by the owner and the cashier was so kind. The pizza was amazing! 10/10 my brother says it’s the best pizza he had.

I grew up in Windsor and remember watching them make pizza when I was a kid in the 80s. It was one of the best pizza places in Windsor. Over the last few years it has gone down hill. I keep trying to give this place a chance to redeem itself but it keeps getting worse. The pizza has been hard to swallow. I had such good nostalgic memories of Arcata....it's sad. **Look at how the owners respond to criticism on here. Bad pizza and rude people.

Arcata exemplifies why Windsor has the best pizza that you can get not only in North America but globally. I've had pizza in Asia, Africa and many places in Europe. (Yes, including up and down Italy.) I've never had better Pizza than in Windsor. (Detroit style Pizza should not even be considered. It is horrible.) I will accept that California style Pizza ranks a distance second compared to Windsor style Pizza.
Arcata is certainly where one should go to see exactly how this is the best you can get.

My sister ordered pizza for a gathering today. Usually the pizza is good. I wish I can add a video of how hard the pizza was. $115 for two pizzas one king one queen. It hurt our teeth eating it. When they called to complain. They didn’t care at all. Not very good customer service little ceasers was better. You would think they would have some compassion.

I came from Mississauga and let me tell you right now this place was amazing, the service was fast and the people were very kind and welcoming, the place looked right out of Italy, and the taste was closest thing I’ve tasted to the pizza in Italy, if your ever in Windsor, this place is a MUST!!!
If your ever in Detroit you gotta go to Windsor. If your ever in Windsor you gotta go to Arcata Pizzeria the home of the Windsor Pizza. What's A Windsor pizza you ask, it's a thin crust pie topped with crispy shredded pepperoni, canned mushroom and local cheese just to start. We had the privilege of meeting Rob, 3rd generation owner and local icon for a little Windsor education. These pies are so good people order them to be shipped around the world. While we were there an order had been place to be shipped to the USA. If you go to Windsor and don't eat at Arcata you missed out on a uniquely delicious experience.

What a delightful crew! Best pizza around. Get the dipping sauces, I’m pretty sure they’re home made and they are DELISH. Great, friendly service. Cute atmosphere. Fantastic pizza. Worth the drive!
