Such a lovely breakfast spot in Windsor! I went early in the morning and the ambience was very cozy and welcoming. The place has an old-school charm that makes it feel really comfortable. They even served a welcome coffee, which was a really nice touch. The lady who served us was very sweet and the food was really, really good. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot in Windsor.

Service is always prompt and food is delicious! Love the home cooked food! New owners have done a fantastic job of keeping the menu the same, same staff, and same quality. If you haven’t given Backroad a try, you’re missing out. Great family owned restaurant!!

Went to see how an old favorite place was with new owners. Pleasantly surprised. Food was good. Inside has been redecorate d. All in all we will go back.
New owner, Food is still mostly the same, but new staff is really not good.

We didn't even get our order. Sat there for 45 minutes before we cancelled and left. They need to figure out how to prioritize their dine guests and take out orders. We use to love going here with the old owner. Disappointing.
