Such a lovely breakfast spot in Windsor! I went early in the morning and the ambience was very cozy and welcoming. The place has an old-school charm that makes it feel really comfortable. They even served a welcome coffee, which was a really nice touch. The lady who served us was very sweet and the food was really, really good. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot in Windsor.
Service is always prompt and food is delicious! Love the home cooked food! New owners have done a fantastic job of keeping the menu the same, same staff, and same quality. If you haven’t given Backroad a try, you’re missing out. Great family owned restaurant!!
Use to be better, bright cheery and friendly. New owners have changed the atmosphere. It's lacks the lustre it once had. The old waitresses were chatty and treated you like family. The new ones are just, there. The food quality at least did not diminish, still excellent with a great variety. Will definitely return but it's not the same.
