This is the first time visiting the Back Road Cafe and the service was quick and our waitress was excellent. We ordered the western omelette with home fries with onions and our the food arrived very hot.We definitely will be back.Lots of parking available.
The waitstaff is so friendly so i feel bad.. unfortunately the food is not what it used to be. Very chewy bacon, and home fries are not available without onions which was a bummer. Grilled cheese was cold and the cheese wasn't melted. Coffee was very burnt and the poutine gravy had a boogery consistency. I dont usually review like this, but I literally didn't like anything I ordered
This place is popular and for good reason. I’m always so happy to find a place that is comfortable to dine on my own and this was a good find for me. Staff is super friendly and excellent at their jobs. My food came out quick and hot. The peameal bacon and home fries with onions were delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try more like the clubhouse or tuna melt and homemade soup.
