We visited The Blind Owl for the first time last weekend while we were in town. Even though we’ve been to Windsor many times, we had somehow never made our way here before.. probably because, true to its speakeasy style, it’s a little hidden gem!
I was so pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. The ambiance is absolutely perfect - cozy, cool, and exactly what you want from a spot like this. We were greeted and served by Brandon, who was fantastic! Super friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. Honestly, I wasn’t even expecting full table service in such a small space, so it was a really lovely touch.
The cocktails were top-notch (you can tell a lot of care goes into them) and the charcuterie board was delicious, perfect for snacking while sipping!
It’s funny, because it feels like this place is almost too nice for the area it’s in, but that works out well for us, since we usually find ourselves wandering that neighborhood during our stays at the casino.
We’ll definitely be back every time we’re in town now. So glad we found it!

Hopped the border to Canada for the first time on a work trip from Detroit, found this little hole in the wall and am glad I did! One thing to note - it’s a speakeasy so it’s not easy to find. It’s an unlabeled door to the right of the four points. Walked in and immediately loved the vibe and decor. The bartender (blondish dude who’s name I failed to get) was super nice and welcoming. Told him what I liked in a cocktail and he made something absolutely delicious! I didn’t stay for too long, but am so glad I went there. Definitely a great date spot!
Reminds me of bar chef in toronto but better prices and not as pretentious. Great cocktails great almonds

Went here to have some excellent drinks, and the prices were not exorbitant. Our server, Max, was really jacked, and very hospitable. Overall solid experience! A bit difficult to find though.
