I understand the desire to keep tables open for new customers. However, making existing diners feel pressured to leave, especially when the café is nearly empty, seems counterproductive. There is no posted policy indicating a one-purchase-per-hour rule or time limit, yet staff will abruptly remind you if you stay beyond two hours with a single coffee. Regulars appear to be treated far more favourably, a trend echoed in other reviews.
Cafés often serve as “third spaces,” meant to foster community and offer a comfortable environment to work or unwind. Unfortunately, this café falls short of that purpose. It’s disappointing, because I genuinely enjoy their iced coffee and the location is convenient for me.

The coffee isn't very strong and it's very expensive. At the Coffee Exchange, LG coffee is $3 and it's good coffee incompetence with Starbucks. Please improve the quality of the coffee And if they're selling it for $5.🙏🏽🥹

i used to really love the cafe but within a year the quality of the matcha clearly decreased went from a yummy green to a gross grey matcha, super disappointing for how expensive it is :(
i really love the atmosphere though, it’s a beautiful place and love there blind box selection.
the photos i provided are a year apart from each other, although hard to tell in the photo, in person the colour and taste was very noticeable
(the coffee drink was delicious tho!)

The best matcha in town. It has the perfect earthy matcha flavor, similar to ones I’ve had in Japan. I love the consistency and the right sweetness of the strawberry foam on their matcha latte. Interior is so cute, with lots of nice items being sold like smitskis.

Myself, my mom and my sister, have been coming here regularly these past couple months as we really enjoy the vegan ramen and the lattes/matcha. We came in this Monday morning right at opening (only two other customers in the cafe at this time) we only ordered two ramens as myself and my mom were going to split a ramen (we always order 3 lattes after eating), the staff member told my sister who was paying for the two ramen that my mom would have to order something if she wanted to sit (this staff member has seen us here several times over the last two months). My sister explained that we would be splitting ramen, the staff member did not say anything still seeming to be questioning this, she then said we were ordering drinks afterwards, so he said it was okay. Unfortunately still a very awkward exchange and extremely uncomfortable since we come here so often and order so much every time. Looking at the poor reviews now, I see this is a common experience here which is super unfortunate. Don’t feel welcomed to come back sadly.

I love this coffee shop! Every time I have the opportunity to visit! Everything is super stylish! The atmosphere really puts me in a good mood! The staff is very friendly and everyone is very nice! I am absolutely delighted! It's been two years since I gave my heart to this institution!
