Great Idea, good location and nice servers but Carrots n' Dates seem like they can no longer afford to provide the quality that they used to deliver. Attached is a picture of what the Roasted beets and Goat Cheese salad used to be when it was even a couple dollars cheaper a while ago and what I have been getting consistently lately; a whole lot of greens but saddly barely any if all of the other products and garniture.( zero hemp hearts , 2 blueberries and few pieces of walnuts in that last one but no real proof unless you try for yourself I suppose)....Sad. This will be titled My.Last Visit...

called to get baked good for new years eve, and theysaid that they were open until 7 on new years day, and they were closed. Definitely not going back, especially after putting in an order after being told they'd be open

I really like Carrots and Dates but I am so sad that the Pad Thai sauce recipe has changed. It was perfect as it was and it was what kept me coming back from out of town. The new sauce is much saltier and not the slightly creamy peanut sauce style. I’d love to see the option of the original sauce for us fans of the OG Carrots and Dates Pad Thai. I didn’t bring it to their attention as I figured the change was intentional. Unfortunately I wouldn’t order it again. Staff are super friendly and I love the atmosphere. I will choose something else on the menu to try in the future.

Just above and beyond!
So my key died outside the ladies in care and dates did not just give me sugar with my body needed badly after hot yoga, but they look for a charger and are charging my car key so I can get home safely!!
It’s always a small businesses that come to rescue!

The server was wonderful but the food was not that great. Soup was watery, hot apple cider wasn’t hot and out of 4 items on the children’s menu only 2 were available. Certainly won’t go back. I felt sorry for the young girl who was doing her best during the busy lunch hour.

Food has really gone downhill. I ordered kids pancakes with bananas/blueberries on the side we didn’t get any bananas and the blue berries were sour. The pancakes it self were so greasy and tasted a little off. I used to love carrots and date but I think it’s my last visit

Food is 10, perfect place to go if you have any dairy or gluten or food restrictions. Always great and friendly service, clean, and bright.
My fav lunch spot - try the iced matcha latte with chai and the spinach dip. SO good.

I visited Carrots n' Dates for the first time today to grab coffee with a friend. I ordered an oat milk latte, and some coffee cake.

If you're looking for a dairy-free cafe, they have lots of options on their menu which are accommodating to that diet.

I didn't grab the name of the Woman who was at the café bar, but she was very friendly & understanding; it was my first time visiting, so I wanted to look at the menu options before ordering.

The in-house coffee mugs & serving plates were cute; great eclectic decor.

While on a road trip we wanted to eat something healthy, green and satisfying. We chose Carrots & Dates, found a table open to the outdoors, intrigued by the games on a shelf open for play and ended the meal with chocolate cake. I left happy and content!

The food has not been the same for a few months. I use to love ordering from here. I ordered a salad that once was delicious, now has nothing in it. It doesn't even have a whole beet in it. All it is is spinach and a few blueberries. I paid 18.00 for this. I also ordered buffalo cauliflower wrap, which was filled with veggies (which I do love), but a couple of pieces of cauliflower. I am so disappointed. I'm assuming they are under new management. It is a shame that they chose saving a couple of dollars in food costs to disappoint a regular guest. Never again will I waste my money here.

One of my favourite Vegan/Vegetarian restaurants, their Peanut Coconut Curry is a must-try!
