I visited Carrots n' Dates for the first time today to grab coffee with a friend. I ordered an oat milk latte, and some coffee cake.
If you're looking for a dairy-free cafe, they have lots of options on their menu which are accommodating to that diet.
I didn't grab the name of the Woman who was at the café bar, but she was very friendly & understanding; it was my first time visiting, so I wanted to look at the menu options...

While on a road trip we wanted to eat something healthy, green and satisfying. We chose Carrots & Dates, found a table open to the outdoors, intrigued by the games on a shelf open for play and ended the meal with chocolate cake. I left happy and content!
