We recently ordered two vegan platters from Eastside Shawarma for a small gathering, and they absolutely delivered. The order was prepared exactly as requested, the portions were incredibly generous, and everything tasted fresh and flavourful. Our guests loved the food, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We will definitely be ordering from them again. Thank you very much for all your help!

One of the worst place I’ve been in a while. Putting 2 stars because I still want to be nice, doesn’t even deserve it. My dad and my brother got a plate, they are very satisfied with the food. I got the mixed beef and chicken shawarma, and it is tasty I will say and loaded with protein. The meat I will say is a little burnt and crunchy, but still tasty.

The 2 girls that work there are very rude and ignorant. They were nice to us with our orders, but I went back in because I noticed she missed my side of spicy potatoes and she gave me the worst attitude. No sorry, no nothing, no have a good night. Just very bitter. The potatoes are cooked in a big crock pot, probably been sitting there for a bit. They are room temperature, soaked in oil, and tasteless. Definitely was better off without it.

Customer service is a huge factor for me, food is still good, but if the service is not there, not going back.

Beware

great to see a local business doing things right! Amazing shawarma, friendly people, and fair prices. You can tell they work hard to keep customers happy. Definitely my favorite spot in town!

Food was soggy and falling apart chicken was not good only thing we liked was the french fries, nice place inside but music is kinda loud and couldn't even hear the girl talking and also had to keep repeating myself, also kept leaving to go ask someone else how to do what I was asking chouldnt remember my order think shes new maybe so not really her fault but wasn't impressed mostly with the food.

If you want terrible disgusting shawarma, terrible rude employees, and lack of cleanliness, this is the right place for you. The chicken tasted old and disgusting. The counter they prepare food on is dirty. The toppings are old an disgusting. The employees who are all girls feel entitled and have an attitude. Nobody ever punished them or taught them the meaning of respect as children when they'd screw up.

Overall, a disgusting experience.

I've been ordering food from the East Side Shawarma shop since 2019. They have good services, clean dining room and fair prices. The food is always fresh and its always served with a smile! I've gotten friends, family and coworkers to come here and try the place out, they all express the same positive experiences as well. Thank you to staff at Eastside Shawarma.

Eastside Shawarma is a hidden gem! I tried the beef & chicken mix shawarma with their signature sauces, spices, and salad—absolutely packed with flavor. The sheek kabob plate combo was juicy, well-seasoned, and came in a hearty portion. Fresh ingredients, generous servings, and unbeatable taste. Definitely a 10/10 spot for shawarma lovers!

East Side Shawarma is a great spot in Windsor if you’re craving flavorful shawarma. The meat is consistently tender, well-seasoned, and easily the highlight of the menu. Their garlic sauce also deserves a shoutout — it leans more toward an Iraqi style rather than the traditional Lebanese toum, giving it a unique and bold character that pairs well with their wraps and plates.

The one area I think could use a little improvement is the potatoes. They currently serve spicy Iraqi-style potatoes, which have good flavor but sometimes come out a bit chewy, likely from the steaming or holding method. Personally, I’ve enjoyed Lebanese-style garlic potatoes elsewhere — fluffy inside, lightly crisped outside, and tossed with garlic and herbs — and I think offering something closer to that would really elevate the side options here.

That said, East Side Shawarma is absolutely worth trying. The quality of the meat alone makes it a reliable go-to, and with just a small adjustment to the potatoes, it could easily become one of the top shawarma spots in Windsor.
