Saint Clair College has an excellent two year Culinary Arts program. Not many people may be aware that students have the opportunity to practice what they are learning in an actual restaurant on campus called Eatery 101. It is located just to the left of the main entrance as you enter the lobby. Information regarding daily specials is posted in front of the restaurant.
Students are ready to greet you as you walk in and will direct you to your table if you have made a reservation in advance. All the tables in this large space are prepped for guests who may walk in without a reservation. Your servers will introduce themselves and ask you if you want a drink while you peruse the menu. The bar is well stocked with a variety of alcoholic beverages.
Ample parking is available for free in a lot right in front of the main building. To avoid being ticketed, you just have to let the restaurant know your licence plate number.
Everything looks and feels like a professionally run restaurant, which is impressive since these young people are sometimes performing their tasks for the very first time! Knowing this, patrons should exercise a little patience as they interact with the table servers and bartenders.
Our main server, Prince, was delightful and very quick to check things that we wanted to ask about regarding alcohol and food. My Gin and Tonic was generously strong, and my coffee was perfect at the end of the meal. Our group ordered a variety of plates from the menu and some asked for slight modifications which the kitchen was able to accommodate. The soup of the day was delicious, as were the sandwiches, salad, and egg fettuccine that we ordered. I decided to indulge in a really decadent dessert (Caramel Cornflake Brownie) which was so large that I was able to share it with a couple of friends.
Congratulations to the culinary students and their teachers for their wonderful program and this impressive gem of a place where they hone their skills! We had such a nice experience at dinner that we intend to come back for lunch soon.

Had I not known that this was a student restaurant, I wouldn't have guessed - as everyone presents themselves so professionally.
The food is incredible. Easily some of the best lamb I've ever had in Windsor. Highly recommended.
The chicken Sandwich with the sweet and spicy gochujang was delicious.
Impeccable service and excellent food. Will be back again.

This is a perfect place where the students learn everything about hospitality, and you sit back and enjoy their high standard professional cooking technique. Dourmet food, nicely presented and serviced.

Stopped by during an open house for the school. Had a great tour of the kitchen operations and a very good cheeseburger and fries.

I ate for the first time here today, and I will definitely be coming back very often. Came with some friends, and we were all incredibly impressed by the food, service, and atmosphere. The only caviat being the limited hours, I've been trying to check this place out for a while now but it's difficult if you have a busy schedule. Overall, if you find yourself near here during their operating hours, 10/10 would recommend.

Excellent service, run by students!
This is a wonderful place to eat! I have been here countless times for lunch and I always have a great experience. Their food is delicious, professional and always high quality. They have reasonable prices and the student staff members are so kind and professional. I cannot say enough good things about this place.
Student run, excellent food. Menu changes often.

I’m a student at the University of Windsor and doing my reading week I decided to go check this place out.The food was delicious. The pasta was almost as good as Italian restaurants that cost double the price! in a world where everything seems to be expensive, this is amazing food at a great price.Unlike some restaurants that sacrifice quality for cheapness, this place is a bargain price for students yet has food that taste like restaurants double the price. Highly recommend and you get to support the culinary program at Saint Clair college..

Great place to eat. Their special events are always a worthwhile treat. The only reason it’s 4 and not 5 stars is (for anyone reading this to understand) that this place is for education of the culinary arts. There will be some inexperienced servers and chefs in training, so five stars wouldn’t be a true review, but for what this place offers and provides to the patrons and endeavouring artists, it’s 5+ stars.
Wines of France paired with a 5 course meal was excellent

Excellent! It definitely is 5 star dining. And I love the idea that this is a culinary school so students get to experience the "real" feel of fine dining. And prices are very competitive.
