Tried F\\u0026B for the first time last week after hearing so many great reviews. Even though the space is a little small, the decor and atmosphere of the place was amazing. The food was delicious and well prepared. My favourite dish was the carbonara gnocchi and duck breast. I would’ve loved to give this place a 5 star but the service was not great considering we were the only ones at the restaurant. Every time a plate was brought to our table, the server would already be walking away, while describing the contents of the dish. When we would wave the server down to ask a question, he never fully stopped at our table and didn’t wait to see if we had any other questions. He just walked away. Overall, I would come back again since their menu changes seasonally and the food was extremely tasty.

The presentation was nice for drinks, and food staff were professional .i had duck , many places i had duck, either it was too dry or raw, but I like what I had here at f&b.

It is great to see that F&B has returned to Walkerville. Went there recently (Apr. 2023) with friends without a reservation, but was able to be seated nonetheless. The food, service and the atmosphere is terrific. The only negative for me is that F&B does not take reservations over the phone; reservations must be made online with a payment of a security deposit for each person attending...this is annoying, plus the online reservation interface is poorly integrated into their website making it difficult to use. Also, security deposits only makes sense for larger groups based on the size of the restaurant. If reservation abandonment is an issue, they could do what so many other businesses do; employ an automated system or have staff call or text customers the day of, or a day before to confirm their reservations.

Atmosphere, bartender, drinks and presentation were all excellent….why only 3 stars? Servers were slow to notice when we needed something and food was just good (better than what you usually find in Windsor) but nothing stood out as amazing….maybe just not my taste. I’d say give it a try, but I will only go back for a cocktail.
