Had the Black Garlic Tonkotsu which was great. The meat was tender, the broth had great flavour, and the noodles were just right.

I am always happy with the food I get from Genki! The owner is very nice as well, and always accommodates any requests we have. I love all of the vegetarian options, and the tempura is delicious and fresh!

I've been eating sushi for decades, spending 25 years in Vancouver so it's difficult to find anything that remotely compares but I have NEVER had tuna that is minced up ( like tuna from a can) and low quality, very fishy taste which may be why they feel the need to blend it to mush.

Nothing good about it, at all. Their little Spring rolls are low quality grocery store ( not even the quality of Costco).

Really sad $60 order.

This is the place you want if you like a calm and quiet dining experience which is a nice feature that other well reviewed restaurants can't deliver. I had the Tiger Roll, the Snow-White Roll, Maguro and 2x Unagi Nigiri. Everything was delicious. Photos on the menus could be improved. The rice was perfectly cooked and I got exactly what I wanted.

Friendly owners and great tasting food. You can tell they're super proud. I ordered the tankatsu ramen and did not regret. I used to go downtown to get ramen but glad I have something closer that's even better.

I received a call from the wife looking for deep fried wontons with crab and cream cheese in them. So I Googled it & found a new sushi restaurant a couple blocks from where I was. I popped in and really glad I did. I ordered a dynamite roll along with the deep fried wontons, and wow it was delicious. Great flavors, sauce, wasabi, everything. Fish was a nice size and very fresh. I'll be back.

Contrary to the other reviews, we had a bad experience here. We ordered two different ramen items. The noodles in both items were soggy and overcooked, and moreover, the first impression we got was that they packaged ramen noodles (like the Nissin brand) from the grocery store. Then there's the bathroom: disgusting compared to the super-clean dining room, and this was shortly after opening hours. They clearly didn't clean the bathroom from the day before.

I was on a hunt to find the perfect spicy tuna roll (like one I was obsessed with when I lived in London). This place was it!!

Their sushi and ramen are some of the best I have ever had. This is such a hidden gem in Tecumseh. Their ingredients are extremely fresh and of high quality. They are very consistent and I always recommend that everyone tries them at least once.
