Tonight, I went to pick up our takeout order here. There is a massive, ornately decorated dining area, with a huge buffet full of food. However, it's 6:00 PM on a Friday and the restaurant was completely empty. This was the first red flag.
Next, let's talk about the food:
The mutton vindaloo had very little meat, was riddled with many bones and contained no potatoes (vindaloo is supposed to have potatoes) and also tasted old/off.
The butter chicken we ordered was just 4 whole boneless chicken thighs in a butter curry sauce. It tasted odd as well.
The roti was flavorless and the butter naan we had was so dry it cracked in half when we remove it from the foil. Even the rice tasted stale.
Judging by the taste/texture, I would assume that they are serving food that has been sitting in the buffet for hours as takeout.
Just for clarification - we have eaten at Indian restaurants across Canada. This is not me being a gora and not liking the cuisine. We just didn't have the best experience with the food quality here. The lady at the counter was nice and the restaurant's decor is cool, but for food-safety reasons, we won't be back.

The buffet was quite bland overall. The kheer had a tangy taste, and the halwa wasn’t sweet enough. The paneer dishes didn’t taste good, and both the paneer and Manchurian were unexpectedly sweet. Most other curries lacked salt. I wouldn’t recommend it.
