odered delivery ended up with no cheese on a cheeseburger, no salad dressing on the salad and the chicken sandwich was drenched in sauce making everything soggy.....will not order here again

I came over from Michigan. I found this place to watch a UofM game and was delighted to find some kindred spirits. THEN I ordered the wings... I got to tell ya I'm a stereotypical fat American. These were some of the best wings I ever had! When I come back I will definitely return to John Max!

my dad really enjoyed the basic burger! I got the kids nuggets and it was tasty. The fries were not my favorite though - too thick. The place has many many tvs and they’re all playing something a little different. Something for everyone!

Lgbt friendly but no q!! Wat is this nonsense!!! I wanted a beer to go and they would give me it, i know many bars that do that, its outrageous!!! Anyway everythings over priced its very loud and the food is below average. service couldnt even look me in the eye i guess i was to q for them. 1 star around the board, its sad cause this used to be the place.

Where do I start... the food here is always amazing you would never complain. The portion sizes are good and the price is right.
Landshark specials are the best and it goes down so so good :)
The staff are ok (joking), they are AWESOME :)
Top notch service from everyone of them.
Will definitely be back and its my go to spot.

Back in the day, this was the go to place to get chicken wings however, after Covid, the chicken has gone to shit and they charge you extra for getting medium Caesar Parmesan, and it used to be filled with cheese, but now look at it very dry and soggy plus the fries are just really sad. No taste very disappointed.

Great food and nice staff

Came to this establishment with my buddy Luke! He loved the half off apps after 9, he got the popcorn chicken and the nachos. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good bar! I know Luke always does! That’s a picture of him if you ever see him make sure to say what’s up Luke!
