I called at 820pm before hand to make sure their kitchen was open before walking there. They said it didn’t close until 9pm, so as I live only a block down, I walked over and got there for 825. After sitting down I was then told they closed the kitchen. Which is not what they said on the phone 5 minutes prior nor what they advertised. Please do not tell people your kitchen is open until a certain time and proceed to close it early, knowing you had just received a call from patrons wanting to dine in. Very upsetting because this has been my go to for the last 4 years as the drinks and food were amazing.

Hamburger was incredible. Sweet potatoe fries were excellent. First time going but certainly not the last. Bartender was friendly and welcoming. Good selection of burgers and hotdogs. Thanks for a great experience.

This venue recently hosted "A Celebration of Life" for a long time patron and friend who recently passed away. The atmosphere was as I remembered it many years ago hanging out there, though sadly, many of those friends I hung with have passed. If you haven't been in for a while it's time you did to rediscover that not much has changed.....except our age. It's still the cozy, comfy bar it's always been. And Evelyn you will be missed.
