Very bad food. Poorly cooked, bad taste, and not safe-feeling at all. I will never come back. Save your health and avoid this place. it honestly should be shut down. Not recommended.

Lagos Grill abeg wetin be this? I order jollof rice, dem bring teaspoon portion like say na hospital food. The portion small die, and make I talk true — the taste bad well well. No flavour, no enjoyment, e no even try. This jollof no reach expectation at all. Person go finish am before e even start enjoying, and still regret am.
Come goat meat nko? Abeg that one be goat or bones exhibition? I search meat tire, na bone I dey see. The small meat wey dey there hard like say e come direct from gym. E no gree soft at all.
For this price? No na. Bad taste, small portion, hard goat. If una no wan increase portion or improve taste, abeg reduce price or change name from Lagos Grill to “Lagos Sample.” I no fit recommend at all.

Terrible experience. The workers were extremely rude and unprofessional, and the place was very dirty. It felt unhygienic and uncomfortable the entire time. This restaurant should honestly be shut down until basic cleanliness and customer respect are addressed.

I came to this restaurant excited for a flavorful Nigerian meal. What I received instead was a full-contact culinary experience that felt less like dining and more like surviving a rite of passage.
First, the wait time. I ordered food and had enough time to question my life choices, reconnect with old friends, and consider learning how to cook myself. I genuinely thought the goat was still alive when I ordered it. When the food arrived drenched in grease. Enough oil in it for america to start a war. Would I come back?
No.
Am I still thinking about it days later?
Unfortunately, yes.
One star for making a meal I will truly never forget, even if I desperately want to.

Had a nice and favourfull food. They are so humble too..
So the good. The food was warm and the salad was good. The jollof rice was very dry and there was no sauce and an unappetizing burnt flavour. The jerk chicken was decently spiced on the surface but the chicken itself was very bland. There was a ton of rice and 3 chicken drumsticks. Overall would I go again? Defintely not as it was $21 and I expected better from a restaurant with much higher prices than others in the area. Sorry for the bad news.

Food is good, but takes forever to arrive. It’s been over an hour now and the food isn’t even on its way, they are ‘still preparing’.

I ordered assorted meat, white rice and a sauce to eat the rice with. I placed this order on UberEats and I got a call minutes after saying they didn’t have the sauce(sorry, isn’t this a restaurant for a reason, so prepare what isn’t available. Alright), I asked him what I’m supposed to do about that because I already paid and there’s no way to get a refund. He said I could have an alternative for an “everything sauce”, I asked what it’s ingredients are, he said mayonnaise and other ingredients, I asked what people eat it with and he said jollof rice. I reminded him that I ordered white rice and asked how he expects me to eat some mayo sauce with white rice. I got lowkey frustrated at this point because I’m talking to someone with an accent that signifies he’s not African not to speak of Nigerian or Lagosian. Why am I on a call with someone who doesn’t understand how Nigerian dishes work as a combo… suggesting I eat white rice with MAYO … well I was so frustrated because I was hungry and about to get delivered plain white rice and some meat… oh well.
The portion of the meat was NOT worth the price. Instead of just meat, I got a chuck of bone amongst those and beneath is a what I got picture vs what I expected(not in appearance but portion). I suggest that they include how many pieces of meat to be expected in the menu.
I wasn’t going to leave a review but I really could not contain my displeasure.

The Jollof rice was flavorful and well-cooked, the jerk chicken smoky and tender with a nice spicy kick. Sweet plantains and fresh coleslaw balanced the meal perfectly comforting and delicious overall.
