This place has absolutely went down hill. Used to be the go-to place. Arancini is $5 a ball for unseasoned white rice fried with a couple peas in it (disgusting). No prices on anything. Got a stuffed pepper and it was $13 DOLLARS!!! Crostoli used to be amazing now it’s $20 for a small plate of it. What a shame, what was once an Erie street gem, now gone.

I cannot thank La Dolce and their wonderful staff enough for going above and beyond and making sure my partner's birthday was a hit ❤️
I tried visiting a couple different bakeries in Windsor on the hunt for a blueberry cheesecake but unfortunately it was too short of notice. I walked into La Dolce thinking I'd just grab a premade cake (they all looked fantastic) but left with an order in for exactly what I wanted and in LESS THAN 3 HOURS!! I absolutely was not expecting to have a cake made, I knew that I had screwed up by leaving it to the last minute, and so would have been satisfied with something premade but their dedication to their customers has guaranteed that I'll be back and will be telling everyone I know about this absolute gem of a bakery/deli!!

P.s. the cheesecake was delicious 🤤

I ordered a strawberry romanoff cake for my parents anniversary. It was so fresh and delicious that everyone was licking their plates clean! I highly recommend this place for cakes, dessert, take out meals or even groceries!

We went in there today for the first time. We are from our of town and we arrived about 10 minutes before closing. We were on the hunt for cannoli and a case of Brio... Thankfully the lovely bakery gentleman pointed out the case of Brio, sadly he didn't have the cheese cannolis (which are my fave ), I pouted for sure lol, my husband had 3 custard ones.. I did try them and they were very tasty. The pastry was light and airy with the right amount of crispness and sugar, while the custard was velvety smooth. It was very nice. The only reason I am not giving this place the highest possible score is because the young lady working the till was brutal. She was unfriendly and miserable and looked at us like we didn't belong in the store. I'm hoping she was just anxious to go home from work, that being said she needs to really work on her sustainer service.

I was very impressed with the service provided, the original cake came out beautifully for our event. They younger staff was also amazing in helping me out with a little mishap on the cake. The owners should be proud of their team.

I'm very sad to have to write this review. Years back, I used to love this plac but as of today, I am extremely disappointed with the quality of their tiramisu and cheesecake.

Having recently come back from a trip to Italy, the tiramisu and cheesecake are clearly not authentic Italian; instead, it's a watered-down Canadian-Italian version, sugar-filled to the brim and the strong taste is still in my throat even after it's been 30+ minutes since I tasted the cakes.

I honestly don't know what happened, plus, paid $28 for a few slices of mediocre cake. How crazy is that?

Please improve.

Honestly, I was a bit disappointed. I expected something better based on the reviews, but it turned out to be a letdown. The macarons and cannoli were just average — nothing special in terms of flavor or texture.

I ordered zeppole for this weekend and it was an awesome experience. They were absolutely delicious and fresh. The customer service on the phone and in person was excellent and the bakery itself was clean and has a ton of wonderful options.

I’m a lover of paczki’s and was overwhelmed with the selection they had . So many flavours ..not just the norm, like Ricotta ( which by the way was my Favourite ) , tiramisu , all fruit flavours and Bavarian cream too. The actual donut itself was so light and married the filling beautifully.👍🏻 Not those heavy type ones that you would normally experience. The dangerous Part was that you could eat twice as much .😂 The staff was so kind and helpful. I hope they sell them not just on Paczki Day Because I’m sure I’ll be craving it ..they are that good .😋 Great Job La Dolce Italian Bakery👏👏 If you haven’t been to this establishment you must pay them a visit . Lots of imported groceries, bake goods, breads/ buns and cheese and deli counter and a cute coffee Bar and Hot Section of lunch and dinner delights to grab and go. Something for everyone .
