I recently tried La Dolce Italia Bakery & Deli for the first time and was honestly disappointed. I ordered a slice of tiramisu and a slice of strawberry cheesecake, but neither lived up to expectations. The tiramisu was overly moist and lacked any real coffee flavor, which is kind of the whole point. The strawberry cheesecake tasted stale and not fresh at all. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a great experience, and I personally wouldn’t go back or recommend it.
Amazing experience. I came in and did not have enough money for the meter, the young lady reached into HER pocket and gave me meter money without hesitation. She came to my side of the counter, and described every dessert and its level of taste and sweetness. Once I decided on the cherry cheesecake, she made a couple of suggestions for my lunchtime experience. She closed out by giving me enough change to feed the meter and making a joke about US currency. We ordered this amazing quarter slab strawberry Romanoff cake for my mother‘s 80th birthday party. It was seriously one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. Made fresh with every ingredient. It was amazing. We will definitely be ordering more For future events.
