We enjoyed breakfast here. Despite its modest exterior, the interior is remarkably spacious. The cleanliness is impeccable, complete with a well-stocked bar, and the customer service is exceptional.The food exceeded expectations; I ordered the Frank’s skillet (see photo) and it was both delicious and beautifully presented.This establishment has earned a spot among my favorite places to dine. Additionally, it's worth noting that it is budget-friendly.We will definitely be returning.Thank you.

Jolanda is a garbage waitress. Sat down, ordered a coffee for me, and an orange juice for the significant other. She brings out the oranage juice and i ask for my coffee, she said she forgot. How do you forget a coffee 30 seconds after I ordered a coffee? Worst waitress i have ever

Had a good breakfast here, altho the eggs were a bit runny! Atmosphere and service good.
The owner enjoyed his breakfast at the bar with a waitress. However the fact that the place is usually catering to their regular customers- everyone didn't seem to notice or care. Conversation between people is great but when vocalizing across a dinning area filled with customers isn't great for those looking for a quiet breakfast. Also, we seen a lady spit out a wasp that was drinking her coffee. ?

Best breakfast in Windsor (and I’m pretty sure I’ve been to them all). I only have one thing against them....no milkshakes!!!So I go to Michigan diner more often even though the food is not very memorable.Please, pleaseeee add milkshakes and you will be unbeatable!!My mom went with me when she was in town a few weeks ago and she still recalls how good the food was at Matter of Taste. Also, the staff members are awesome. Just please get milkshakes, so I never have to stray anywhere else again. LOL....preferably a banana milkshake lol

My husband spoke positively about his previous visit to this restaurant for brunch with a family member so we decided to give it a try for dinner. The food may be good but the service was abysmal. When we walked in, it was like the record skipped and conversation stopped - weird vibe. The place wasn’t busy (two other tables were occupied) so there was really no reason for my husband to flag down the server after waiting for 10 minutes so she could take our order. At least it didn’t take 20-30 minutes for the meals to get to the table (15 minutes for a burger and onion rings/clubhouse sandwich and wedges). When the server did walk by the table, she didn’t ask how everything was, as is customary at any restaurant. Her only question was, “Do you want more mayo?” There actually should have been mayo on the clubhouse sandwich, at the very least and some form of condiments on the burger. With the other tables, there was friendly banter - nothing for us. It may be a matter of taste but it certainly isn’t ours and we wouldn’t recommend it.
