The short rib at Mezzo was outstanding – incredibly tender. The dish was perfectly cooked and really stood out. Friendly service and a great atmosphere made for an all-around excellent dining experience. Highly recommend

Kodoo to the coock! Great consistent quality! I can't say enough how disappointed I was with the service last time! An older lady server treated us like we are bunch of leopards! Right from the second we entered and sh was standing by the bar chatting with others! Judging us by the way we looked! But still we enjoyed our dinner, considering how great the food is! I feel bad for that facility, because people like that ruin the whol years of Great authentic food

Extremely disappointing. Our drinks were small & poorly made for the price. The Old Smoke had no smoke, however the one delivered at the table next to us looked much better. After our cold, burnt bruschetta, it was over 45 minutes until our entrees arrived, & we watched every table around us getting bread. When our entrees came, I had to ask about the bread, which was brought after, & that was the last time we saw our server. My ravioli had raw bacon & undercooked sun-dried tomatoes, which made it very chewy. My boyfriend enjoyed his fettuccini, but we ran out of water half way through our meal. Our waitress did not come to check on us at all after the meals were delivered, the guy who came to clear our plates offered to box up the chewy bacon & sun-dried tomatoes, I advised they weren’t properly cooked. Also, real Parmesan matters, if you’re an Italian restaurant. The manager came over at the end & apologized, & took a drink off, but it was too late, & still $118 for two pasta dishes, one drink, & bruschetta. This was not my first time, but might be my last.

Excellent food
Not sure I understand the hype of this restaurant. Second time dining here. The food was not worth the price. The pasta itself was nice and well cooked but the sauces were on mediocre lines. Our server was very nice but I do have to say the service was surprisingly slow even after the dinner rush. One of the popular drinks, I was told was the old smoke, and it was overly sweet and didn't have much smoke. The desserts were nothing to brag about and the base of the Tiramisu was over soaked that it started to taste bitter. I would give it another go to try the Carbonara and the Tagliatelle.

We enjoyed our meal very much. We had the Pollo with cranberry and truffle and onions with vegetables and mashed potatoes, and Italian wedding soup and wine. The music was relaxing. We enjoyed our anniversary with you. Only issue is parking and if you don't have tap enabled on your credit card or cash you can't use the city parking lot. We parked on Parent Ave and walked 2 blocks back to the restaurant. Hard to find street parking, but we still had a great evening.

I just wanted to thank the chef Pat for an amazing meal. Best calamari in the city. My wife had the spaghetti and meatballs and I had the Ravioli. Prices were fair for quality of food. Our waitress was great. Shout out to Robynn. She was kind, funny and attentive. We will definitely be returning.
