This used to be my go-to spot for kebab rice, but not anymore — thanks to the guy working around 8pm. The person working clearly doesn’t care if this place burns down. Zero effort, zero customer service, and zero interest in actually selling anything. Might as well just lock the doors and go home.

I visited Mosul BBQ yesterday with three of my friends because we were craving some good kebab sandwiches. While the food itself was good, our overall experience was honestly disappointing and not because of the food, but because of the service.
From the moment we walked in, the guy taking our order was extremely rude and impatient. We had a few questions about the menu, and instead of explaining things clearly, he acted annoyed like we were bothering him just for wanting to understand what we were ordering. His tone and attitude were completely unprofessional and made us feel unwelcome.
Two of my friends also ordered meat pies, which came out cold. Not warm. Not even slightly heated cold. That’s unacceptable at any restaurant, especially when you’re paying full price.
To make things worse, I was charged $3 extra for my sandwich. When I politely asked about it, the cashier looked at me with a look of disgust and said, “So you want your $3 back?” It wasn’t just what he said it was how he said it. There was no apology, no explanation, just attitude. I told him yes, not because I desperately needed the $3, but because I care about honesty and respect. If your staff makes a mistake, own up to it. Don’t act like your customer is the problem for pointing it out.
Again, the food itself was solid. But no matter how good the food is, bad service kills the vibe. If you’re looking for a welcoming, respectful experience where customers are treated decently Mosul BBQ might not be the place. Hopefully management sees this and takes it seriously, because with just a few changes in staff attitude and basic professionalism, this place could be so much better.

Till a few months back, if someone asked me what’s the best kebabs in Windsor, Mosul Grill would’ve been a tie with one another place. For price, taste (especially the real charcoal essence) this was absolutely the best place. So, I wanted to remember that taste again and to my disappointment and shall I say disgusting kebabs. This place should be avoided at all costs. I ordered around 8.10PM on Thursday and the person served this disgustingly dry, crisped and not so well cooked chicken kebabs. To everyone else reading this and value their taste buds and money, please try another place.

The food is delicious and the salads are amazing. Many people here see to complain that the food has no salt. Little do they know that not everyone can consume too much salt. You can just add the salt yourself.

Usually they make the food okay. Depends on the workers but lately I have been getting very little garlic sauce and hummus. We got 3 orders of shish tawook combos, none came with garlic. And my boyfriend who ordered them wasn’t told, I called to tell them none came with garlic and was told I thought he knew since I told the people before him. We should know ahead of time what we paying for & it’s very poor to assume we already know. Very unimpressed. If I knew there wasn’t garlic sauce I wouldn’t have ordered period.
