We had an very good meal; however, I ended up with my husband's medium steak and he ended up with my steak. After cutting in we realized they had mixed up the order but they gave us a lovely dessert to compensate for the error. I know steak houses are always expensive but I think $10 for break was a bit outrageous! Also I made the reservation at least a month and a half ago and yet they weren't able to seat us right away and would only seat us if we would except a booth. We looked around and there seemed to be a lot of empty tables so not sure what that was all about!!!!
The meal was amazing as usual and our server Deborah was wonderful, I would recommend asking for her. Great job and see you again!
We had such an amazing experience. It was my daughter's first time there, and she was highly impressed by the service and the food.
Nero's is elegant but never stuffy. The food is always worthy of a “Fine Dining” restaurant and the staff always delivers that level of service. Nero's outshines every restaurant not only in Windsor but in the Metro Detroit area as well.
(The photo includes my Steak that i ordered medium.) Showed up with very high expectations, As my second time coming, The first time being with my Father. Brought my partner with me this time, Gave her very high hopes. Our waitress was beyond rude. Didn't care to ask anything, (it was a birthday, she didn't ask or anything) Just a very rude tone and behavior. As 2 Younger individuals. Felt very stereotyped as (not going to tip) Was not the case at all, I always tip very well there. The worst part. I ordered my steak Medium. It came out (At very MOST) RARE. The waitress then just says “Oh i'll take it back i guess” I expected a new steak from a place like this. The same piece of meat came out then Slightly overcooked. And she leaves and never checked in on the table, if she did it was to collect the plates. (we still stacked and cleaned for her to come collect with basic respect) After finishing my food. She had said “ They're going to give you a free dessert” Then took that order, Brought it out. And that part was okay. Then she brings out the bill. The dessert was charged. I made her take it back and take that off. Was very disappointed with that experience. Expected way higher standard, And level of respect. To end it i would usually tip very well there. However with that i was very upset, Yet still tipped $15. Everyone at the front desk was great, Just the service i had was very disappointing .
Food took a very long time to arrive and it wasn't as if we had a huge order. We were 2 people. Food was meh...The Keg is better. The horseradish was delicious though.
Firstly I must apologize for the low review, for me everything is food based. The staff and service was outstanding. It was our food, typical Ceasars salad was just that, typical renee salad dressing, nothing too wonderful. Our souvee steaks were done as ordered but they were very cool not hot...and I did t like the seasoning of the steak, it really took away from it. The pasta was your typical ragoo sauce. Basically the entire meal was more typical and not special. For the money they want per item and the the fact that they have a huge income, you would think more elegance and better dining chefs. I would rate this place more of a cook house rather than a chefs restaurant. .
We were traveling from New Hampshire for our anniversary. We originally had a table but decided to sit at the bar and that was a great decision. We had the pleasure of meeting the bartender, Jennifer T. The service she provided was fantastic. The food was very good! She was super attentive and has a group of regular customers that were at the bar which we had some great stories and great laughs with.
If you’re traveling alone or traveling with a group, it’s highly recommended you stop in the narrows. The food for the price is very good and the service is even better.
Jennifer T Thank you for a great experience!

Outstanding food, wonderful service. We have been eating out quite often lately. This was by far our best experience.

Meal and service were very good. Sommelier was excellent. Views to river were great. Interior is a little outdated so it could use a refresh.
This is a great place for a calm delicious dinner. Great service and nice ambiance. Go and enjoy.
This is our first time to Windsor and to the Windsor Caesar Casino. Our dinner at Nero's was a wonderful dinner experience. We both ate the roast beef dinner and it was delicious. Nero's is on the top of places to eat the next time in town.
For a higher end restaurant was disappointed.
Our party of four was seated in the very back of the restaurant with constant interruptions with staff getting alcohol out of a small pantry door. We felt like we weren’t part of the restaurant itself.
Lighting was terrible with no over head light which made it very difficult to read the menu.
Although our server was friendly, she was very slow between courses and honestly not very attentive. This is not what we are accustomed to in a higher end establishment. She never came once during the main meal itself to ask how things were, slow with refills of water, etc. Honestly looked like they were understaffed. For $100 per person…. A little more attention is needed here.
The steak ordered was cooked to liking and was a nice cut of meat, however, the temperature was on the cooler side. Felt like food was sitting out before being brought out. All meals were like this. One order was messed up when brought out, but they corrected that immediately. As well, onion soup was extremely salty and caesar salad not the freshest and a little wilted.
Everything was a wait from ordering to paying the bill. Just was very slow. Higher end restaurants are normally a slower meal, but not this slow.
Honestly expected a little more for this over priced diner.
Save yourself some time and head down the street to the Keg for better service.
