Great food, comfortable chairs
I loved this place.
Third time we have eaten here, we have now picked our best Chinese restaurant in Windsor. Kirin Chinese restaurant is outstanding.!
Their sweet and sour chicken was a total disappointment
From the moment I walked into the establishment I had a bad feeling about their kitchen and the food they served, it was dirty and unhygienic, the wall paper was peeling of everywhere, but we still decided to try out they're dishes. The food was by far the worst chinese food I've ever had, the spicy shrimp had a funny taste to it and way to salty. The general tao's chicken was by far the worst I've ever had, it was slimy not crispy and it lacked every flavor for general tao that makes it what it is, I threw the whole dish in the garbage, they're rice dish young chow was below average, it lacked all the seasoning and flavors and barely had any shrimp or pork on it. Overall the food was disgusting and I would not recommend. The worst experience ever when it comes to chinese food.
Used to get a decent portion of food, now you don't. Not really big on the taste anymore either. I used to enjoy the leftovers. Nope. Threw it away and I love Chinese food. I think I am done here.
The combos here are expensive, almost $18, but the portion size isn't that big and the food really did not taste good at all. The restaurant itself is medium-sized with many places to sit.
Between the fried corn and chicken & shrimp appetizer to the veggies in garlic chillie sauce and bean sauze with szechuan chicken, not one dish was tasty. Served one small bowl of rice for 6 adults. Had to request another one right away. The prices are reasonable but serving size is also quite small. The place was empty by 9 pm on a Saturday evening. Would not come here again.

Portions are good, we got the 10-person set menu ($258) and added Mongolian Beef. The food was tasty but the fried rice at the end was too salty. The place is a bit dirty, just look at the door that leads to the kitchen.
