Okay listen, this sassy, gassy, and proudly smart-assy single mom of 3 doesn’t have time for bland snacks or bland company. I’m a Canadian beaver who spends her summers paddling through Lake St. Clair and winters shredding the slopes at Horseshoe Valley. And in between? You’ll find me diving face-first into a steamy, cheese-drenched pile of New York Fries at Devonshire Mall.

They’re everything, crispy, salty, hot, and absolutely worth it. Yeah, they make me a little gassy. But guess what? This mama can’t hold ‘em and frankly, won’t. The real question is: can you handle it?

So grab some fries and brace yourself, darling because I’m bringing the heat, the sass, and a light breeze. 🍟💨😉

I can’t say enough great things about New York Fries, not only is the food absolutely delicious , but the staff makes the experience unforgettable. Christine and Jess are incredible! They’re so kind, welcoming, and always go above and beyond every time I stop by to get my usual. Their customer service is top-notch, and they create such a warm, friendly environment that keeps me coming back. I work at the mall and they’re the only place that has such great consistency with their food, every time I order my food comes out perfect. Now I use the points since I’m here so often.

If you’re looking for amazing fries and even better hospitality, this is the place to be. Huge shoutout to Christine and Jess for making every visit feel special you two are the best!

I love NYF as 1, I'm celiac and can eat there. 2- I had a promo on my fry society account and it wasn't scanning and the owner/manager honored it anyway.
I always have a great experience when I eat here and the customer service is amazing.

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that the food came out hot. I don't know what NYF has done the last 5 or so years but their fries are just normal bagged fries now. The gravy was tasteless. I threw out half my order. I even mentioned to my wife if I wanted a mediocre poutine I could have went to KFC or A&W next door.

The ladies at Devonshire mall are always working hard and are always friendly. It's my favourite location because of them.

Had a classic poutine, it was not good… cheese did not melt, too much sauce.

The fries & gravy are the best in the city . But I haven't had them for a long time so I rate this based on all past experiences enjoying them. Hoping to get some tomor, I'll update this comment if my experience in taste changes.

This was my go-place to eat at on my break ( I work at the mall) and I’ve been coming here for years . I got a poutine yesterday and it was room-temperature gravy ( it’s usually steaming hot ) and they barely put fries… so I thought ok maybe they’re just having a bad day ( it happens) but then today I got the poutine again and again it was room- temperature and the fries weren’t FULLY COOKED. Honestly disappointing because because it was one of the ONLY places I could eat at the mall then NEVER use to disappoint me. :(

Nice and clean and very pleasant to deal with.
Ordered snack pack fries for my wife and a snack pack poutine with a root beer drink.
Just over $16.
Fries were good but Deb’s Place on Grand Marais W are much better.
As for the poutine, well I would pass because it is the furthest from a real poutine.

Absolutly loved the poutine and It made me so happy to see fully paper cups instead of paper cups with plastic lids. This is how we work towards a better future!! Thank you new york fries!
