I’ve given this place far too many chances, and I’m officially done. As a vegan, I always make it a point to order clearly labeled vegan rolls and ask staff to be mindful of cross-contamination. Despite this, I’ve repeatedly witnessed staff handle fish and then immediately touch my food without changing gloves something that makes me incredibly uncomfortable and goes against my dietary choices.

Tonight was the final straw. I arrived at 7:45 p.m., thinking I had time to place a quick order before they closed at 8:00. Instead, I was met with one of the rudest customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. A girl at the counter curtly told me they were closed and had already shut off the machine no apology, no explanation, not even basic courtesy. She wouldn’t make eye contact and walked away mid-conversation.

I’ve tried to support this spot despite past issues, but between the poor handling of vegan orders and now this unacceptable behavior, I can no longer justify coming back. I’m officially boycotting this place and would not recommend it to anyone who values respectful service or has dietary restrictions.

Ordered through the take out apps! I got the Oshima and Kamikaze with 2 piece red tuna. Always consistent and great sushi overall. I love the 5 piece options, great selection and the roll is large!

That place is nasty they use the same cutting board and knife if there in a rush and all they use to clean it is a nasty dirty rag and I haven’t seen a single employee wash their hands they really emphasize the stereotypical “mall sushi” experience 🤢

Ate here on Saturday for lunch at work and immediately got food poisoning 2 hours later. I've been sick for over 48 hours. This place is not sanitary and use the same cutting boards/knives all day without properly cleaning them.

Im very disappointed in Niko Sushi Devonshire for the lack of service. Today i was told to come back in 15 mins and i had no time for that. I ended up buying sushi at Metro. This place needs a bigger store front or leave the Mall. Telling customers to come back will not sit well. It didn’t sit well with me and i went somewhere else instead. Their sauce isn’t worth being told to come back in a time frame. Shame on you.

Ordered 6 rolls only received 5. Called back and gave them my order # and what I ordered and how many boxes I received. Was told it was my word against theirs and there's nothing they can do. Terrible customer service.

Honestly for mall sushi, it ain't bad. Fish appeared fresh, rice was alright and the soy sauce and wasabi were packaged. Not bad.

This is our household go to sushi place. Their sauce is so good. The food is always fresh. Everyone who works at both locations is really nice. My favourite Tuna roll of anywhere I have been. oh!and prices are really reasonable.

So many times been here and always ordered for my son rolls with cooked salmon. Today we’re told that it is impossible to get it from the menu. That’s frustrating, because we’re been driving from far away to this place specially for this type of rolls.
I even have a picture of them.
By the way, sushi are always fresh and great, can’t complain.

As I write this review I am still at the mall and in shock of what the staff just put me through. I even went to the guest services to see if I could make a complaint and broke down in tears. The whole issue is surrounding my order being gotten incorrectly. And rather than at least acknowledging my point of view and seeking resolution, I was Yelled at and ganged up on. They even ignored me and when I asked for the manager victor I believe, he said “ I don’t have anything to say to you, I am very busy”. I have never felt so embarrassed and unheard before. I am posting this review to see if anyone knows a complaint line for this business. I am so hurt and need to at least be heard. That is all I am asking for.

I've been eating at the Niko sushi in Devonshire Mall for over 10 plus years now. They're consistent and great. Always fresh and and they have great service. They have great prices too.

Stood in line for 20 min only to approach the counter and be told sorry we’re not taking any more orders.. very rude seeing as how they told no one and made us stand and wait.Usually they have great service but I’ll be going elsewhere for my sushi now.
