Cute, small space serving a simple but tasty menu of Italian sandwiches, appetizers and gelato. For drinks, recommend the Ortona Spritzer...the right amount of bitterness and sweetness. Nice place to meet up for a quick bite and bevvy

I ordered the porchetta sandwich but it wasn’t to my liking. The waitress was very pleasant and got the owner Johnny, he listened and was very understanding, before I could finish my complaint he had removed the sandwich and asked if I would like something else. He replaced with a veal parm sandwich that was loaded with 2 slices of veal was very appetizing. Because of how Johnny, the owner, handled the situation, I would definitely go back and give him my business!

This is a charming café with a small but pleasantly spacious patio. Although the drink menu is somewhat limited, it still offers some good options. Initially, we were put off by the food menu, which was printed on a small, unlaminated piece of paper covered with spills.

However, we were pleasantly surprised by the food itself. We ordered panini sandwiches and although I can’t recall their exact names, they were juicy and delicious, truly reminiscent of the flavors of Europe.

I recently visited this café after hearing good things about the atmosphere, which I’ll admit was quite inviting and well-designed. Unfortunately, the experience beyond the aesthetics was disappointing.

Upon entering, we weren’t greeted or acknowledged by the staff, which immediately set an impersonal tone. Behind the counter, there was a visibly dirty cutting board and slicer, which raised concerns about cleanliness here…

When it came to our drinks, it was clear that the barista lacked proper training. She didn’t know how to steam the milk and ended up over-steaming it for our lattes resulting in a texture more like to hot milk than a well-frothed microfoam. When she pulled the espresso shot she placed it into the machine without tamping the grounds—a fundamental step for consistency and quality in espresso preparation.

It’s unfortunate, because this café has potential, but the lack of basic customer service, cleanliness, and barista technique made for a disappointing visit. I hope to see improvements in staff training and operational standards in the future.

Definitely would not recommend to anyone and will not be returning.

Prices posted on their online menu DO NOT match what you are charged in the restaurant. Called in an order for pick up. We were told 25 mins....not only did we get sticker shock at the bill (since the online menu is wrong!), our food wasn't ready.

Buddy working in the back slicing the deli meat seemed to be working on his own timeline and didn't care that customers were waiting. Our order took an hour from the time we called - nowhere close to 25 mins!!

Quality of the panninis has also declined over the last couple of years. We will no longer bother ordering here anymore.

Our server Rebecca was amazing! Even though she was working alone on a very busy Sunday, the service never faltered once. A hard worker and lovely energy. Would come back just for her!

Love this place. Service is excellent. It has a cozy vibe. I had such a good espresso martini. The mushroom soup is always delicious. Roasted pig was amazing. Must try their sandwiches. Everything I have ate here is fresh and flavorful. It’s also a great place to have a bowl of soup and share a sandwich for lunch.
