Okay, first of all… open mic’s on Mondays, amazing. All the performers are great! The love for music resonates really well here! Everyone is just here to have a good time and you can feel it! $6 Walkervilles, great deal — great tasting beer.I was getting TOO drunk and needed some food to absorb the alcohol. I noticed they had $6 hot dogs for 1 and $10 for 2 hotdogs. THEY ALSO HAD VEGETARIAN HOT DOGS!I ordered a veggie dog, expecting it to be a plain veggie dog with a bun, no condos. Instead, I got a BEAUTIFULLY CHARRED vegetarian hot dog with the perfect and well balanced amount of ketchup, mayo, Dijon mustard and a nice thick juicy pickle slice!!!! HANDS DOWN… BEST VEGETARIAN HOT DOG I’VE EVER HAD! I was more than impressed, more than satisfied! Thank you Phog for great music, great service, and great food ?

A local gem indeed. It’s an intimate venue that hosts a diverse array of talents and enthusiasts, both local and from afar. I frequent their open mic events to support and indulge my interest. The entire team, from the owner to the staff, is incredibly accommodating and friendly. Their playlist sets a fantastic vibe. As someone who doesn’t drink alcohol, I’m the lone ginger ale enthusiast at this place, so I can’t speak for their drinks, but they seem to offer a decent selection. Their poutine is delightful, and the hotdogs are simply divine. - Angela

This is a pretty good place if you're in the Windsor area and are in the mood for live music, poutine & pizza!

Windsor has a number of live music venues and the Phog is a great choice. It is small but a very lively place. I went down for a few drinks and to catch some live music. Sat at the bar and met a number of locals and the owner Tom who was very nice. Good times and highly recommended.

Great scene with awesome staff and really fun live music. Drinks are pretty pricey, which was really the only downside, but such is the case with most bars lately.

It's a great little bar to get a drink, maybe enjoy a show, and where the patrons are friendly and varied. One of my favourite places in the city. Be warned the bands can get really loud in there since it's so small.

Staff don't typically answer the phone, which sucks if you want to book something or even check what's currently on tap. One can't even leave a message because the voice mailbox is full, and has been for a while, so you know the owner/manager isn't checking messages very often. Not much in the line of food, except poutine. Not much investment into better tables and chairs, or other interior improvements, even though this location became Phog 20 years ago. It doesn't seem like management wants to invest in such things. They have no debit machine, and only accept cash. I guess it makes it easier to blur the lines when it comes to revenue, and not declare a certain amount of their profits. Nowhere to get away from intense noise if there's a louder, heavy band playing, since the amplified sound is cranked beyond what is necessary for the tiny front area. I can't imagine the degree of hearing damage and/or tinnitus that some of the bar staff and regular patrons are suffering from. It's sad what's become of this location since the days when it was the Eclectic Cafe. How things change.

You can't go wrong with this local gem. Bands far and wide come to play here. Amongst other forms of entertainment.
