Tried this for the first time with the hubby and overall we are pleased. If you don’t live close then I recommend going on a nice day as it’s outside seating and even the indoor portion is all opened to the outside so rather chilli . Fish tacos were a bit spicy for our liking but all it was good and I would go again.

got the 3 piece birria tacos with the "broth" it was alright i make birria all the time at home but was super interested to try a restaurants version the broth kind of just tasted like beans and and meat wasn't that flavorful felt like it could use some other seasoning not quite sure I wouldn't order again especially considering the price

Recently I notice Rico has been lacking customer service.I have been following Rico for years from there different locations.I live in Toronto but spend half my time in Windsor this is my daughter favourite place and it’s our go to place every time we are in Windsor.My last few visits have left me with a bad taste due to the lack of customer service.I came into town on Thursday from Toronto my first stop was Rico for dinnerI stood at the window of the truck while the girl finished her conversation with her coworker’s she greeted me with a eye-roll I asked for three orders of Birria taco she charged me for oneI corrected her and said I would like three orders I received another eye-roll she corrected the debit machine and dropped it in front of me.She then dropped the buzzer in front of me.I sat in front of the truck and waited for my food I thought it was taking longer then usual since it wasn’t busy I watched continue to engage with her coworkersI notice a bag of food beside her but thought it must be a Uber delivery.I sat for 15 mins waiting they finally buzz me she picked up the order beside her and dropped it on the counter I was so disappointed.I drove 3 mins to my place and the tacos were cold and soggyThis is definitely my last time I go to RicoThis is yet another establishment that don’t understand they need customers to stay in business.

I love Rico Taco. I’m obsessed with their Bria fries and order almost once a wk. You get a big portion, that’s full of flavour with fresh ingredients. Hands down one of my favourite take out spots. Service is always friendly and prompt. Highly recommend.EDIT: something changed with how they make the Bria Fries. They now drown it in nacho cheese sauce and it ruins the dish. Maybe if it was a little nacho cheese but it’s legit a soup of it over top of the fries making it a soggy mess. I liked it better when it had crispy fries under the fresh toppings, & beef Bria. If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. Sadly, I won’t be ordering this again.

Honestly for all the hype about the birria tacos... I was very excited to try and they were pretty bland. Even the broth/consomme wasnt very flavorful althought looked as if it would be. Ordered an order with and one without cilantro but both had none rlly. Will try to make my own birria next. 18 bucks for 3 small little mediocre birrias was not worth it. Was cool to try but won't go out of my way for it.

After reading the reviews I was so curious to give this a try as birria tacos one of my favourite meals. Ordered fish tacos, birria tacos and birria fries . Fish tacos were good , but I wasn’t expecting chipotle sauce on it .did not go well .Birria tacos have 2 corn tortillas , the corn tortilla flavour overtook the whole dish I did not taste the various spices birria is known for not in the meat nor in the consume broth .I also found it Pricey for what they offer .Service is really good , atmosphere is nice .
