Had a very hard time finding the Diner. There was a very small store name. The breakfast was alright. Although it wasn't to busy, we still had to wait 45min for our food.

My Hubby and I always go out for breakfast on the week-ends. We have our usual haunts but decided to try the Rise and Shine ( formerly Skippy’s)Very nice renovations, extremely clean and very pleasant staff. Shout out to Nada and Keen, two very sweet girls who took excellent care of us?They made sure to explain that all meat is halal, which was absolutely no problem for us.Hubby had corned beef hash with over easy eggs and grilled home fries. He loved everything.I had Cali Benedict which was delicious. Avocados and tomatoes were sooo fresh. I tried the fried home fries. They were very well seasoned and super crispy. We will definitely be back?

Went here for my brothers birthday, he ordered the apple cinnamon pancakes with a side of sausages. He absolutely loved it all, everything was very filling. I had the Rise 'N Grind meal, my eggs were cooked just right and even though they do not serve pork the beef sausage was very delicious. It was genuinely a good first experience, the waitress was very consistent in making sure we were taken care of.

This review is going to seem fake because it is so great…But I can assure you, it’s very real…This place is really an amazing place to eat! Service is wonderful…Food is cooked perfectly…Coffee is hot and fresh. I even had some special requests and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me…Not a hint of ‘attitude’! My daughter and I absolutely loved it! Thanks Rise n Shine for an amazing Sunday brunch!

Order took about an hour and the place wasn't even half full. Food seemed microwaved or from frozen (fries definitely not fresh cut). Competent eggs benedict. Definitely overpriced for what you get.

This morning my boyfriend and I ordered an eggs Benedict with bacon, a western omelette, a side of bacon & a bowl of fruit and slice of cheese cake. Upon arrival the order was not ready yet so I waited close to the entrance. My western omelette had green peppers in it, which I asked to be removed, and I never received my toast.I also noticed someone was working in the back without wearing a mask, I am unsure for how long & what position they were in. The rest of order was made correctly and my boyfriend mentioned his eggs Benedict was delicious. I enjoy that you can chose they way you’d like your has browns (grilled, deep fried & shredded) my boyfriend got the deep fried & I got the shredded, we both enjoyed them. The cheese cake was to die for & the fruit was very fresh. Reminder that the meat is cooked with chicken & beef, and not pork, that being said the meat we received in our breakfast was still very tasty ! The staff in general were very nice & friendly and I enjoyed their hospitality

I walked in with my friends around 11:00 a.m. today looking forward for trying out the food at this place. And then we walked right back out in less than a minute. Despite the fact that I forgot everyone had to have proof of vaccination; which is fine. I appreciate the rules and I do not blame them at all for following them. Safety first. But the female employee at the door was communicating with us like we are animals and don't belong there. She was speaking and communicating rudely, and on top of that she mistreated us while kicking us out. They don't belong in business for serving people.

My husband went in and ordered the hungry man breakfast today. He was informed that the sausage was beef so he figured he would try it. When my husband got home he opened the box and the only things edible in it was the eggs and toast. The potatoes were half cooked and cold so he didn’t eat them. He took a big bite of the sausage, chewed it and spit it out. Now he feels nauseated, pains in his stomach and he feels like he’s going to throw up. If the stomach pain and nausea don’t subside I will be taking him to ER. This is sad that they serve food like this. My husband said the guy was really nice and pleasant. We need a good regular place to go in Windsor. And after my husbands experience today, this I guess is a no go. Very unfortunate. It’s not hard to cook breakfast properly. $16 dollars for garbage. Very overpriced and Shameful! They need a much better cook that knows what they’re doing. So sad.

Ordered Hungry man breakfast. Tried the sausage it was bad, potatoes were half cooked and cold. $16 dollars bad food. They need a cook that knows what they’re doing. Going to ER. Not recommended.

Food and service were both great. 7am, table of 4. All pleased. The waitress made sure she pointed out that they do NOT have pork in the restaurant. Their food is halal. So be aware that "ham", "bacon" and sausage on the menu are all made from beef. Its different. But it is a wonderful option for anyone who has Muslims in their circle of friends. Even if you dont, I would recommend. We will be back

This is a very conveniently located restaurant on the university avenue just out the Windsor City Centre but still walkable. Place had a nice parking area and enough seating space. Very nice booths to sit in and enjoy the meal. We ordered the omelette with potatoes and toast, and egg Benedict. Both the dishes were very well cooked and severs brought in coffee to go with it. Overall good experience. Thanks to the amazing ladies who took care of our order and checked up on regularly.
